We should all figure out how to rent that motherfricker for a weekend. Hookers and blow style. I'd contribute 4 digits to that for my end.

Yeah, there was one here earlier this summer called the Vava II, and it was a gift from the wealthiest man in Switzerland to his wife. I guess the super wealthy have a different standard when it comes to "keeping up with the Jones."

The rich really give no fricks. Saw an article about a guy who just left his $450,000 Porsche sitting in a public parking garage for over a year collecting dust.

There's a charter yacht docked here right now called the Ice Bear.
If you have enough friends with money to blow..

Yeah, I know. There are some awesome yachts out there right now. I walked the docks the other night and some of them are amazing.
Guy that started Bayliner Boats had his out there a few weeks ago, he had a helicopter on the back. Paul Allens has a chopper and a submarine.

I guess it would make sense for a few of them to head up to AK. It's beautiful.
I remember my first experience with billionaire money was in the south of France. There was a yacht parked next to a cruise ship that made the ship seem not so big.

It's called "frick You" Money. These guys have it. We don't. :(

Good pictures. Looks like some kind of submarine. Is it still parked out there?

These mega yachts rent for a few million a week. You are going to need some more digits

Man, that is really ugly.

I think it looks awesome. Certainly different from the average $300 million superyacht. It's built that way in part to be bomb resistant, which is why it does look more like a military stealth craft than it does a yacht.
Dudes airplane is amazing. Still parked at the airport.

No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die.

It's in the area. Just not in Auke Bay. Probably in Glacier Bay

Could you imagine how expensive it is to just use it.. Like the crew and gas alone must run close to a million
Usually a good figure on a boat is 10% per year of the total value to run one. Damn!

How is he allowed to visit? I thought we cut all of the Russian super rich off a while ago. I guess he wasn't included.

Fuel, crew, maintenance, harbor fees, slip fees, dry dock every five years for that beast ... a million wouldn't touch it. It would have to be twice that, if not three or four times that. That's not counting the chopper, the food and liquor, ...
Damn one-percenters.
