Calorie Counting For Dummies

Low cal and get some exercise at the same time - everybody wins
Seriously tho, stay away from processed foods and fast foods. Read the labels and use some common sense. Beware of foods with too much salt or sugar after you hit 45.

Other thing docs will tell you is eat brown over white
Brown bread > white bread
Brown sugar > white sugar
Brown rice > white rice
As for me I love pork but will not buy corporate sausage. Have a real butcher grind some low fat fresh meat but have him keep out the salt and add only real spices like sage, garlic, cilantro, and cayenne pepper (if you like it hot) or fennel (if you like it sweet.

holy crap
piggilicious just saved all of our lives right now. All of us. We will live now because of the information piggilicious just gave us on the sodium levels of Progresso Chicken Noodle Soup
almost 1500 grams of sodium in one can. What? What?
piggilicious did the research and made the call
"Oh my," said Paul Eells. "Oh my!"

All soup has way too much sodium especially when you look at SPC's. That little can of Campbells soup may be 2.5 to 3.5 servings per can. When I did the math on one of the cans you got your entire sodium for the day just with the single can of soup.

When you consider that you’re essentially drinking chicken urine it really isn’t worth it.
Posted on 2/21/19 at 7:49 pm to KSGamecock
How do you get that?
When I make chicken soup I cook down the bones to make the broth.

The broth is the chicken urine.

Don’t ask me, I’m not a Chicken Urologist, I’m just telling you common knowledge and you’re overreacting.

Killz, atre you suggesting you have had your head ups a chicken's butt?

Now you’re just being crude.

This is a good thread.
I support almost all of it.
I have completely given up bread for the rest of my life. I just wrap my sandwiches in fresh lettuce.
I have given up rice and pasta for the rest of my life. I eat riced cauliflower.

Damn bro, your life sucks. I'm boiling some pasta right now as I type.
Mueller's brand pasta. I think I'll start buying this brand more often. I like the name.

Well then I'll smash this late night bowl of pasta in your honor, my low metabolism friend

Please do that! I envy you.
