Been to Birmingham many times. Some of the suburbs are nice. Definitely not the city

True, but NC is not an SEC state, so the Queen City is discounted. And Charleston is great, but it is not a big city.

Jacksonville is big enough to be included, but I forgot it existed. What is there in Jacksonville besides a bad football franchise?

Charlotte is around a hour and 15 minutes from Columbia and big portions of SC are counted as Charlotte's population

4. New Orleans

Used to be at the top of the list, but with the rampant crime, no one wants to go there.

1. Atlanta (most cosmopolitan/international, beautiful city, great night life, best restaurants)
2. Nashville (great music scene)
3. Ft. Lauderdale (beautiful beaches)
4. Tampa (Ybor City, on the Gulf)
5. Savannah (Charm galore, beautiful downtown, great food)
6. Ft. Worth (this town is more of the real Texas)
7. Kansas City (great BBQ)
8. New Orleans (great food, nightlife, but dirty)
9. Dallas (Some people call it, "Dull-arse", boring night life, ugly landscape)
10.Houston (Ugly, flat, polluted, stanky, yuk)

The Ham is better than Columbia, not that it is saying much.

Houston.

The strip clubs, the food, and NASA. Those are the only reasons to vacation to Houston.

It’s not a tourist town. It’s a place to live. Jobs, jobs, and more jobs. Reasonable housing. So much diversity and culture. Has everything you can do in a big city (pro sports, shows, concerts, rodeo, etc)

No contest here...Atlanta! The night life in the ATL is amongst the best in the nation...we LOVE shooting movies there (even the boycott is a drop in the bucket compared to all the movies being shot there even now).

This is not factual. Houston is the strip club capital. 60-70 clubs.

Going to New Orleans tomorrow. It’s has so many positives and negatives. Such a fun place with so much history, but let’s be real. It’s kind of huge shite hole too.

Dallas too low.

Or maybe I just avoid the bad parts when I'm there.

For me:
1. New Orleans
2. Nashville
3. Miami
4. Tampa
5. Austin

After that I think all of the large cities have something to offer, but are not necessarily a place I would go out of my way to visit.

Charleston would be #3 or 4 if it counted.
