Both good, but DS9 wins. DS9 had the Star-Trek universe in place already so you knew the context; Bablyon had to introduce their whole story from scratch. DS9 had to really reach far beyond its namesake mandate for the biggest story arcs (all the good shite happened on other side of galaxy), but it delivered and that's what's important. Babylon brought a stronger hair-do game.

I'd been hunting for a long time and just gave up and bought it on iTunes.

Is it good enough that it would be worth watching it on a sketchy site? I don't want to spend money on a series that I've never seen only to find out I don't like it. The only series that I own any seasons of are DBZ/Super, GoT, and Dr Who

I'd give it a go on a sketchy site and I wouldn't recommend buying it. I'm rewatching for nostalgia and its flaws are becoming pretty apparent. The 90s CGI hasn't aged well and the dialogue can be shite at times but if you like Sci-Fi you've got to sample it...the overarching plot is solid and the individual episode stories still seem well crafted.

B5 always seemed like a more serious attempt at Sci-Fi than Star Trek. There aren't replicators and transporters and the Humans aren't OP. It also has more elements of a political drama.

Thanks looks like it's time to find me another girlfriend that's still in college

Does Amazon still stream Doctor Who, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Batman: The Animated Series?

Bc those 3 shows alone used to be worth me keeping their app downloaded on my smart tv

Yes on Dr. Who, but sadly no both of the others.

Cough, cough. Hypothetically speaking if someone were to go to watchcartoononline.com then they might find a website with just about every cartoon and anime ever made. Not that I have first hand knowledge mind you.

DS9 but it can't touch Star trek: The Next Generation. Not even the original Star Trek can.

Everybody knows TNG is GOAT. It's pretty well established.

Here's my unpopular opinion:

I enjoyed the first season of Discovery so much that I would put it right up there with TOS and already above DS9 and Voyages.

And I liked the change to the Klingons

Fight me.

I haven't seen Discovery yet. I need to check that out.

I sort of loathed TNG to be honest. I know the series got much much better but I just hated the first few seasons. I realize I should watch the later seasons and enjoy them because I rode through the craptacular first few seasons of shows like Xena Warrior Princess until they got good.

I should warn you, the first season or so of Babylon 5 is hampered by the fact that the lead actor went insane during the season. No. I shite you not.

Michael O'Hare had a major mental health issue arise during the season that caused him to have paranoid delusions. So the first season is going to be a bit... uneven.

I am going out on a limb here and guessing many women think a 9 that goes deep beats a 5 that babbles.

Mash Here to find out what women find most important when it comes to size (and color).
