So NASA is predicting that a sizeable asteroid will pass within 512,000 miles of earth today. The models show it would explode upon entering the atmosphere.

Someone may die

Happened around 6am this morning. No body noticed anything. I lose track of all these “near” Earth killer asteroid stories I see each year.

I am currently stuck in Marion, Arkansas. Trust me, every day I live like I wished there was no tomorrow.

Please, you "borrowed" all my meth the last time you were up here. Now all I've got left is malt liquor. Just for that the invitation to come up for a visit when West Memphis gets its marijuana store going is officially off.

I swar I'll pay it all back, mayne. I left you plenty of Mickey's big mouth. West Memphis already has a marijuana store-it just ain't reel leegul.

I hope you go hiking! No excuses for not doing that in Arkansas or in the country where there are a lot of good trails to hike.

The agency estimated that the asteroid has a diameter of about 62 feet.

At 14,000 mph it would level a big town with a direct hit. Glad it passed by.

Now you are just rubbing it in. I moved to the mudflat part of the state away from NW Arkansas to take care of my mother. The only trail we have here is alongside the Mississippi river or across the river on the old bridge. I've seen the Mississippi. Its a giant drainage ditch.
