Then it was not a great analogy. I get what you're saying in that you think the people who act a fool are giving "weed a bad name" and thus keeping it illegal. I just don't think people who act like idiots are the reason weed is illegal.

Me either...again, that's why I never said they were. You just seem to keep putting words in my mouth. I said people who act like idiots are reinforcing negative stereotypes and not helping the cause of legalizing pot with antics like that, which is true.
I did say "No wonder the shite is illegal" but I was speaking more to the continuation than saying it was the cause.
ETA - when people act like that it wipes out any credibility that people like me, who smoke and maintain and go to work and don't act like juvenile fricking delinquents, have when we say that weed isn't bad and shouldn't be against the law, and I for one get tired of it.

I like to smoke too and I also sometimes like to be silly and say things like OMG I'm sofa king stoned. Doesn't take anything away from weed and doesn't hold the progression of legalization back even a little. IMO FWIW BYOB CDC

Serious question... does eating weed get you high like smoking? I've been smoking for over 20 years, but I've never had brownies.

Metabolites created upon oral ingestion of cannabis are of a slightly different cannabinoid profile, and thus give you a different high.

You don't eat the weed. First you have to extract the thc into butter or oil and then you use it depending on the recipe. It takes about 5 hours if done right but well worth it. Super high right now

Not technically true. THC is inactive until it is decarboxylated with heat. Any heat will do. I've read about people who put their pot in a toaster oven and then shove the bud into a pb&j sammich.
