What pre/post-emergents are you using? Weed killers?
Or do you contract it out?

Been using Classic Lawn & Garden for over 20 years. No complaints.

Go to the outdoor board. There is a main lawn care thread.

If you plant rye grass in your yard during the winter, it'll choke the weeds out until spring when your grass starts growing again. I'm also against killing clover because bees love that stuff and they pollinate everything else in my garden.

I'm thinking about burning my Bermuda this spring just like our old football field was done back home

Used to treat lawns in a former life. I used prodiamine, mostly.

Yikes, and I thought truck nuts were trashy! What do you do, hang them on your riding mower?

It WAS the place to go until they opened up the Home/Garden board yesterday.

I hate that shite. It makes a nice looking lawn, but you can't have like garden beds anywhere near it unless you intend to forever be pulling it out. I've seen it climb over edging, go under edging, seed into beds, you name it.
frickin sucks.
I like the idea of NOT using turf grass at all.
ETA: there's a large indigenous plant nursery up in Wisconsin (can't remember the name right now) that sells a "no mow" native grass mix. It's all of the dwarfed varieties of prairie grasses found here in the US. Things like side oats and prairie drop seed. That shite looks good as a lawn, IMO. It makes your place look like a legit meadow versus a manacured turf. Which means you'll have all the birds from all around all winter long without having to buy bird seed for them.

the primo lawn and garden center where I live is owned by someone in my general neighborhood who has a plush Bermuda lawn, so if I run into any issues I'll bet I can get great advice from them at their store

Oh, it's great if you're a diligent gardener or you just don't have flower beds. If you stay on top of it it's not bad at all. But later in the year if you neglect to weed it for more than say 2 weeks you'll have a chore cut out for yourself.
Can't have any trees either or it'll die. Doesn't like shade at all.
