Android or iPhone?

Which do you own and why? I have a s9 galaxy. I bought the wife and teenage daughters iPhone 11's. I love my phone but feel like they have better ones.

Have had both in my lifetime. It’s iPhone by an extremely large margin.
ETA: mostly because of compatibility with other iPhone users and ease of use.

Android. The only compelling reason my friends with iPhones can give for getting an iPhone is that others have iPhones, too. You've never seen a melt down until you've seen an iPhone person green bubble melt. It's beautiful.

Here's the ironic part: in group text with my iPhone friends, they all cry that the messages get messed up, yet me and my other Android friend have no issues in that same group message.
Yet they still blame Android.

Oh it’s definitely Apple’s fault, no doubt. No arguments there. I was cursing their name at the beginning of COVID when I tried to hook up my work laptop to an Apple monitor and it was incompatible.

Yes this. Google has made strides to make Android compatible. Apple keeps iOS on lockdown.
My other favorite is iPhone users thinking their lightning charger connection is universally standard for phones. USB-C is something they've never heard of.
God forbid I point out that all of their other devices (bluetooth speakers, wireless headphones, kindles, etc) all use USB and not lightning.
Allegory of the cave comes to mind here...

If you want cheap China made products with dated parts get the iPhone 11. Its the iph XR with an extra camera. Its not a flagship device.

Motorola was sold to the Chinese years ago. The once great American company known as Motorola was sold to Lenovo about 5 years ago.
Google did retain its entire patent portfolio, but sold the entire hardware division to Lenovo which is secretly owned by the CCP. I would buy an iPhone before Motorola at this point. Damn. That hurt to even type.

Android, and it isn't close!
For what I need done with a cellphone, An Android can do everything I need done and I have a greater choice of "unlocked Cellphones" that allow me to get a unit that can handle my needs without the Price Gouging that Samsung & Apple unleash on the naive, gullible American Consumer
I suggest everyone take a long hard look at Android and the flexibility and options it affords the Consumer
