Stupid people are everywhere. This thread shows a couple.

My first post in this thread is one of full perspective. Cops killing people unjustly is far too common, thugs being thugs is far too common. What is causing this, why is this so prevalent, what mechanisms of our society are causing these issues?

That is hardly a dumb persons stance.

A man was walking down the street and ended up dead, the cop instigated an interaction that resulted in a fatality, there must have been a better way of doing whatever it is he set out to do when he confronted Brown.

Yeah, that makes more sense. Allison died, but it wasn't turn 2.

Oh, I don't know?

Maybe the fear that he was about to get arrested for a strongarm robbery? Even if the officer didn't know, Brown most certainly did and probably assumed the officer did too.

Or maybe he just did because he decided to do it - like these examples that were easily found with a quick google search.

I really could go on all day with examples were citizens facing minor charges decide to go for the brass ring.

Is the car from the '93 wreck in the museum? I remember a really badly wrecked car in there, but that's about all I remember.

I remember Rusty Wallace flipping through the front stretch that year. I was at a lot of those races during that time.

I wouldn't say it's far too common. However, one is enough.

BUT there isn't enough information known in this scenario to know if it was justified or not. I don't get how you can just automatically jump to that conclusion. It's asinine.

He was walking down the middle of the street when there was a perfectly good sidewalk next to him. Usually officers will ask people to get out of the road so they don't get hit by a car. Trying to keep an accident from happening is not a bad thing. Hell I've had this happen to me in multiple cities. Neither time instigated a fatality.

As I stated before, Wilson asked them to get out of the middle of the road, and started to drive off. He then reversed and went back to Brown. We don't know why he went back. It could very well be that the description of the strong-arm robbery suspect was broadcast over the radio and he realized he had the guy in his rear-view mirror.

Blame Tbird for having his black card revoked. He traded it in for NASCAR fandom.

Dunno.. never toured the museum, never took the time. I did enjoy the perks of being in uni at the time though.. free access to the pits and a stroll through the infield was always fun.

Jeff Co. would usually work the tracks at the stands, keep people from climbing the fences and crap.. is why I jumped at the chance to work with CBS crews. One race, a buddy was beside me on the track though.. he had a few drunks in his section (surprise).. I'd look at him occasionally, he'd have this pissed off look on his face... we'd turn to watch the cars.. and once.. I stayed watching him as he turned his back to the crowd. I

I saw why he was getting pissed. Every time he turned his back.. a couple of rednecks were peppering him with their chicken wing bones. After I quit laughing, we gave them a warning and a bit later ended up having to eject them. I HATED the July races though. They were miserable.

Yeah.. he never could get to the finish line, unless it was upside down.

I was there when he did it once.. pretty sure Earnhardt got the win that time. I was usually about 200 yards up from the start/finish line.

I don't think so. I don't recall seeing that one. The Michael Waltrip car from the 1990 Bristol race is in there. It's the 2nd worst car torn up that I've ever seen.

LINK

Michael Harmon's wreck at Bristol is the worst looking to me.
