Course it took me several hours to find the boat in this picture.
Maybe my vision is not as good as other folks.

Well.. another looting and riot last night...

Seems a curfew would be a smart thing to impose.. probably shoulda been done a few days ago. Why hasn't the governor intervened and sent Nat'l Guard down at this point? It's like nobody has any idea of what to do.

What would happen if the store owners decided to protect their property by arming themselves and shooting anyone who tried to steal from them? They have a legal right to protect their property. I'm not saying they should , it would be dumb and would probably lead to their own death but what if they took out a lot the looting criminals?

This has degenerated down to just thugs being thugs. More people will get shot, but these will probably call it on themselves for real.

Meanwhile.. on a Friday night in Ferguson, Mizzou...

What some hoped would be an evening of calm was instead one of chaos that ended with a shooting victim, seven arrests and an early morning heavy rain that finally helped clear the streets.

At this stage, I think ANYBODY who is out in the street is asking for trouble. No good will come from any of it in any shape or form unless order gets restored and people can work within system.

This rage against the machine shite aint gonna work.

Pregame show is starting...

Streets blocked in #Ferguson by demonstrators on one end, police on another. Expecting curfew tonight.

And now we've learned that he wasn't shot in the back.

The 'witnesses' are looking better by the minute.

I haven't read where any witnesses said he was shot in the back, but I haven't read every article so I could have missed it. Some irresponsible media have spread that report and some people have run with it. The 2 or 3 witnesses I've seen/read interviewed said he was facing the cop with his hands up when he was shot.

But I also watched that video where the guy said he was walking towards the cop when he was shot. So who knows.

Mr. Johnson said that he hid behind a parked car and that Mr. Brown was struck by a bullet in his back as he ran away, an account that Dr. Baden’s autopsy appears to contradict.

“Michael’s body jerks as if he was hit,” Ms. Mitchell said, “and then he put his hands up.” Mr. Brown turned, Mr. Johnson said, raised his hands, and said, “I don’t have a gun, stop shooting!”
