My life has become easier once I realized that in real life the far right is kinda leftish and the far left is kinda fascist.

Being old enough to remember the John Birch Republicans labeling IKE a Communist, that fringe now actually holds power instead of getting laughed at. Name any POTUS in history with even 1 Communist wife, and current POTUS is on #2 Communist wife.
We are well past sanity by either party but the Poli Board are an even more "special" group.

Bill Clinton was more right-wing than this current occupant of the White House. Oh well, I just live here. I'm afraid that our desire for a small government that doesn't spend us into bankruptcy is now gone.
