The dude never even wrote a song.

The power of packaging and marketing. Only in America.

Elvis had actual talent. He could sing. He could dance. He did it without auto-tune.

Unlike this shite you see today. Rappers and their bad poetry to even worse electronic beats. Beyonce with her three line songs.

Being from Texas, this might be hard to comprehend. Elvis was a SINGER. Note the difference in singer and songwriter.

Try again. Even Priscilla will tell you. He never touched her until she 18 or 19.

Elvis had Ann Margaret and Nancy Sinatra as regulars while Priscilla was at Gracelend waiting. Both were madly in love with him.

He literally had to decide whether to marry Priscilla or Ann Margaret.

Elvis turned down Natalie Wood one night, because he had better waiting. One of his bodyguards lucked up and got to rail Wood.

And so are a gazillion others. Your church probably has ten.

Elvis did not create anything. He's not an artist.

Elvis was the original Tiger Beat magazine performer, before said magazine existed.

There isn't one in a million with the vocal talents Elvis possessed.

Your ramblings are silly.

I listened to Kentucky rain on Sirius this morning on my way here to the doctor's office.

I remember where I was when I heard he had died.

The guy was as self destructive as they come ... but he was a showman.

Anything between Abba and ZZ Top. Anything. And guess what - they wrote their songs!

He most definitely was his own producer and managed the sound & progression

I like Frank Sinatra, but I would like to slap David Brinkley upside his smug little face for the comparison on the day the king died.

Writing songs has zero to do with voice talent.

If he is so bad why did 700,000 visit Graceland last year?

Still selling millions 47 years after his death.

Name a bigger singer period.

He might had been a great singer but there is no denying he stole a lot of his hits from African American performers.

Thats exactly what someone who was groomed would say....and even still thats exactly what grooming is. Dude was a pedo. I get it yall love his music but if he was a no name and she was a no name, yall would be calling for his balls to be cut off.

Not saying he is bad. He is just categorically not an artist.

No, he did not.

That is a bullshite, revsionist tale from the same crowd that claims to have invented air. sunlight, and the 24 hour day.

Elvis sang songs that the songwriters were paid handsome royalties.

YOU are full of shite.
