If it helps, my old mans brother answered his door one Sunday morning and it was Louis Armstrong and Lena Horne stopping in after a show date the night before for some grub.
My youth was quite weird but quite magical, got no complaints.
Life just is what you interact with, not what you let pass you by.

Donna Jean Godchaux is an American singer best known as a member of the Grateful Dead
Donna’s vocal singing tone could best be described as a feral cat getting drowned in a bathtub…
…after you’ve already thrown a plugged in toaster into the water

I've seen it suggested that she couldn't hear herself because of the wall of sound.
It's also possible she was stoned out of her mind, or that she really couldn't sing.
The fact that she recorded in-studio with so many well-known artists leads me to believe it's one of the first two.

HRV did music thread for me on the SEC OT. If you have time to waste, that is a good start.

I can play a mean skin flute, but that is about it. However, I have been surrounded by musicians and music all my life and have a vary broad appreciation for it. Have a family full of singers and players but God just did not bless me in this way.

Today, his stage name is Lil Wayne.
Mine is Playboi Carti.
