We are having these discussions, when 6 months ago we were all so positive that this was the year.

Barry Odom landed Kelly Bryant, Albert O was gonna be a beast. We could run the ball at will and we had a stable of talented, young wide receivers.

For once we all agreed, even BO couldn't screw this up. He was gonna prove he was the Mizzou coach.

Very, very sad.

The defense has allowed 219 points this year and may not make a bowl game. fricking stupid.

What sucks worse is this team actually sucks. Several piss poor units on this roster, so even if we do make a change it’s looking like a significant rebuild

Just think if someone had come here and said we may not make a bowl even if sanctions are lifted. We all would have thought him crazy.

Look who we are going to beat

SEMO - FCS School
WVU - Headed towards 4-8
Troy
Ole Miss - Headed towards 4-8
South Carolina - Headed towards 4-8
Arkansas - Headed towards 2-10

We have losses to:

Wyoming
Vanderbilt 3-9
Kentucky 7-5
Tennessee 7-5

I mean holy shite man how do you frick that up?

Even if the dude beats Wyoming and Vanderbilt he is still 8-4. How. The. frick.

I get it. But did it ever seriously cross your mind that this season would be shite? I can honestly say, I dont remember 1 moment that I considered the season being this bad 6 months ago.

I think everyone, being a Mizzou fan, thought we could disappoint but this? Nah. Not even the most pessimistic dude would have legitimately thought this was going to happen

Let's see who else understands our pain?

Husker fan
Huskie fan
Longhorns fan
Seminole fan
Aggie fan

Anyone else?

I don’t think it’s that big of a rebuild. A competent offensive staff and they will be good enough to get to 7-8 wins next season.

The next guy, especially if it's an offensive guy, is going to run a bunch of skill guys off unless their attitude and habits change significantly.

our ceiling next year, with a very good coach, is 4th in the east. 6th is just as likely.

That’s still 7-8 wins. That’s not some long drawn out rebuild.
