Isn't it about time to start talking about the football equivalent to Kenpom right about now?

Other than the fact that BO and KA both graduated from Mizzou there's really no similarity in the 2.

I see you still have no ability to discern good coaching from bad.

I watched how BOs teams progressed in 4 years as a DC. If given time at Mizzou BO will be successful here. If not he will be super successful somewhere else.

I've watched his team regress over two years here. And we'll be no closer to good after 2017 than we were in 2015.

I hope he gets 2018. It will shut up all the usual suspects.

2018 should be the year the experience for BO matches having players with experience.
8 starters will return on offense.
Lots of defensive players getting reps will be back as well. Though I think 2019 is the year the defense starts to carry the team again.

Probably 2020. The new coach in 2019 will need a year.

BO was the DC before he was HC. Every player on defense is HIS player. His struggles highlights the fact that he was never the catalyst for our good defenses. Kul was. His front 4s made everyones job easier. Bend but dont break, really meant "hangon until the front 4 stops them."

Even if there's a new coachthe defensive talent will be experienced.
The DL will probably look like:
Byers, Elliot, Whiteside and Turner all juniors
At LB: Garrett, Brooks, Miller and Bledsoe. 3 juniors and a senior.

That should be a good front 7.

Hard to avoid when every conversation about BO is eerily similar to those had about KA.

Christ, you don't see the similarities to the same things said about KA.

Here's another similarity. Most of us know what's going to happen, the writing is on the wall, and now we get to ride out a whole shitty season waiting for it

I still think Barry should of taken the Memphis job i understand Mizzou is his Alma Mater, but get some head coaching experience in the American conference before he jumps straight into the SEC with no head coaching experience. I like the guy i hope he succeeds but personally i agree with alot of you guys he maybe in over his head on this one
