No, I'm very much serious.
I should clarify, some drooling when I sleep. However, that's normal. I'm only human.
Maybe.
We've gone off-topic haven't we?

We will be eliminated immediately, like every year.
We put more emphasis on the NCAA Tourney. Though I wouldn't mind seeing us win both

Serious question.
I want to get added to the USC board for no particular reason at all other than the fact that they've been a favorite team of mine for years.
I'm not sure I'd contribute much, but the "Why did you fall in love with Carolina" thread made me want to jump in.
I've been a fan of USC since I thought it was funny to wear a shirt that said "Cocks" in middle school. However, I've followed the Gamecocks since then, including the shitty years when I first discovered the Gamecocks. They were always my SEC team before I had an SEC team to root for.
If I posted this on the help board, what would you think my chances are? Are you guys militant (as in saying no because I just said "you guys,") or are you cool like us?

I'd support you. But I know a few of the guys are pretty anti-mizzou.
Promise not to troll on the board and you may have a shot. What's the worst that could happen? You get told no?

I've thought about asking, but I'm guessing it's a solid no

If it's easy, I'm in. I just won't put up too big a fight against the anti-Mizzou folks, which is why I'm asking.
TBH, I check the SC board daily and only felt the need to post like three or four times. So it's probably not worth the headache with the USC/Mizzou rivalry advocates.
My SC infatuation is well documented on the rant, but it takes some effort to see.

Hell, you'd know. I volunteered for the USC preview last year for the same reason before this whole USC/Mizzou shite popped up.
Let's do this.

All of 'em!
And that's right, I forgot mizzeaux did the USC preview! We want to do something similar rant-wide for featured games this fall.

Garnetway is cool. He seems to have a open door policy until you troll.
You might have a real shot here.

We'll see how this goes.

In and out of sleep. I can't turn my head to the left or upwards for some reason. Maybe I'm getting old. How about you?
I have gone to Chiropractor (first experience) and really did some good. Might consider this treatment method.

Reedus, Semo, CNK, I appreciate the help.

It would be nice to be respectable, but I wouldn't want the school to put too much emphasis on baseball. We need to focus on football and basketball for men. I feel like that is what Florida did and should be a model for us. Get good and build your brand on football and basketball. Then as the money and name recognition grows, expand to supporting the other programs.
I agree with the idea they need to improve the experience of the fans. Winning cures everything, but if that is not happening any time soon, take the minor league park approach to garner attendance. Make it an experience by allowing booze and encouraging tailgating. Let the college kids have the outfield and let the young adults have the 3rd base side. Let families and kids have behind the plate and first base side. Everybody gets in just about free, no checking of coolers, etc.
If you are not going to do that, then I propose they tie TSF points to baseball season tickets. For example .5 pts for each adult season ticket and .25 pts for each kid season ticket. People will buy them as an easy upgrade to possibly jump up in the football que. Once the tickets are sold, people will start going to games because they will feel like using them since they paid for them. If they don't use them, they will be more likely to give them away so somebody will use them.
The SEC sucked at baseball until the 90s. The same thing with the Atlanta Braves. The Astros and Rangers got their first taste of success in the 90s. Florida didn't even have baseball teams until the Marlins and Rays joined in the 90s. Basically what I am trying to make a point of, is that baseball is a relatively new sport in the South as compared to the rest of the country. I believe baseball in the South will take the same life cycle as the rest of the country, just a few decades later. That is, IMO, baseball popularity will start declining in the future.
