Where to view MIZZOU news in KC area

Hey. I'm frustrated that the KC Star requires that I purchase a paid subscription to view online articles about Mizzou. I have paid subs to ESPN, CBSSports (all access) and PowerMizzou (I'll definitely NOT renew that one),but don't think it reasonable to require a kansascity.com (KC Star) subscription just to read a couple sports articles a day. You'd think they'd at least let us get to a screen where we could view ads without shelling out some bucks! I've been using stltoday.com, which is great, but it seems crazy that I have to go to a st Louis news source for local sports news. Does anyone know of a better local source?
Also, who else CAN'T WAIT for the SEC Network? I know some people want to see 5 billion reruns of the University of Denver playing the other KU (ks) in volleyball, but hopefully when the SEC net gets rolling we'll have some better options in the KC market.

Yeah, I can display the page you link, but any time I actually try to select an article to read, that article is overlaid with a requirement that I purchase a subscription (this happens the first time I try to access any article). The only way to get rid of that seems to be to purchase a subscription. Rock M Nation is good, but I'd like to be able to see LOCAL sports news in the KC area.

Shhh... Don't tell anyone, but if you hit "control button+a and then control button+c+x" during the split second before that subscription page pops - you can cut and paste the article into an e-mail or a page like this and read it. Just hit control button+v to paste it into the e-mail.
Works every time and you don't pay the man a dime.
(Apologies if you know how to cut and paste...)
