Where does Mizzou fit in this new era of the 12 team postseason ?

It certainly enhances our chances a great deal but we need to improve offensively a great deal too.

Only way we had a chance of making the playoff

Whenever we are in the top 4 it will be one of the bottom 8 that knocks us out of the playoffs.
It should be a 6 or 7 team playoff like the NFL does. The top ranked team and maybe the 2nd ranked team gets a bye.
Playoffs should be picked before the conference championship.
Next thing that happens is a 3rd place game

I don’t see a 3rd place game ever happening. That would be hard to justify from a player safety standpoint and you’d also have tons of players sit out

would have meant we would have been in the playoffs 3 times the last 15 years.
