A friend of mine has a kid that is a 3 star, but doesn’t have a composite ranking. He has a some FBS offers and had a on campus visit last month at KState. He was 4A 3rd team All State last year. 247 has ranked is ranked 38th in Missouri, but should move up in the rankings after his visits and track season.

Heston Miller
WR
6’2”
195

Ran 10.58 in the State 100m final (2nd)
Ran 21.95 in the State 200m final (5th)
Ran the anchor on the 2nd place 4x200 and 4th in the 4x100.

Also interested to see if Carthage RB Luke Gall moves up in the rankings. Watched him play twice last year and he is a beast. He was the Class 5A player of the year.

247 has him at a 3 star he doesn’t have composite rank. He is ranked 37th in Missouri.

No idea man. But the Zizzers were always a tough game when we played them. I think we beat them 7-0 way back when I was a senior in hs in a district game there in West Plains.

I hope they have good seasons.

Another kid from West Plains I’m keeping my eye on is Jeff Hafer’s nephew Watson Hafer. His dad played basketball and his mom played volleyball at Columbia College. I think his grandpa played football at Mizzou in the early 70’s.

Right now 247 has him as a 2* with no composite

Athlete (TE, OLB, WR)
6’4”
210

6 star has him rated at a 4*

6 Star analysis
quote:

?? SIX STAR FOOTBALL SCOUTING REPORT A tall and athletic player who has the ability to make catches in the backfield and then turn and create on the ground. Hafer has good size at 6’4, 205-pounds and he adds good length and long strides. He gets off the line well and has very good speed for his position and he can turn his body and make catches in a variety of situations and can get open in the red zone as well. A talented and underrated TE from southwest Missouri, Hafer has the kind of frame that could easily add good weight and muscle mass with age and projects well at the next level. He has good soft hands, can make plays downfield, but is also a bruising blocker, both at the line of scrimmage and downfield in space. He averaged 19.6 yards per catch on 18 catches with 353 yards and had six touchdowns this last season.

quote:

Has good hands and is good at using his frame to his advantage, both in terms of length and pure strength. Can seal off opponents and make impressive and athletic catches. A player who is still underrated at his position
