What kind of offense would Odom run?

We've obviously got a good handle of what type of defense he likes to play, but it remains to be seen what he would like on offense.

Would he stick with the spread? Move to more of a power spread/zone read type? Move to a more traditional power set similar to Arkansas? Single back, west coast type?

This would be very interesting to me to see who he taps as his OC. Should tell us a lot.

I don't plan on watching a lot of Memphis football.

This is one of my bigger concerns with Odom. He's never played or coached offense. And that's an issue for us right now. I did hear some names I like as potential OC under him though.

Odom is not happening here. He will be at Memphis.

The rumors earlier would be that he would bring the OC from UNC with him as his OC. That guy may get the North Texas HC job though. So watch UNC play Clemson and get a good idea about his offensive ideas.

Looking like you are wrong dude.

@tmckernan: From @GabeDeArmond: I think right now it's 50-50 that they end up hiring Odom or they end up hiring someone Mack Rhoades has kept secret.

So it's either Odom or some guy who hasn't been linked to the job publicly at all. Which...come on

If there was a coach candidate that Rhoades could've largely kept secret, it would likely be Herman.

Anybody think he'd bring Christensen back?

If there is a secret candidate, the first thing I think of is Frank Haith, and we all know how that worked out.

It is not Odom. Just because the media is getting fussy because there aren't leaks doesn't make it Odom.

Odom will be at Memphis.

If Odom isn't our guy, I hope he's at memphis. And not Saban's new DC, that would suck.
