Hasn’t Arkansas State been a solid program for the last 10 years with a couple conference championship appearances? It should be easier to recruit there

I should clarify “Sunday-ish.”

I’m guessing Sterk may have had a pretty good idea when he pulled the trigger.

Over the last 5 years the top 1/3 of Conference USA is consistently 81ish in average player rating. The bottom is 78ish.

The Sun Belt isn't much different.

Hopefully the coach can elevate Mizzou from a team that has usually ranked in the mid 30’s in recruiting ranking to mid 20’s.

Much difference in a program that went to 8 straight bowls vs a program that had NEVER been to one?

You’re acting silly now

Arkansas St versus Charlotte?

Cmon. You could recruit a good team and never leave Mecklenburg County.

Barry Odom 2.0? I am done if neither Brian Harsin or Co-OC Jeff Scott is the Mizzou coach.

Why don't you just be done now? Save yourself the worry.

I think there’s a good chance it’s neither of those.

So if we do a SEC east retread on a bball coach and a SEC east retread on a football coach can we expect similar results?

Why do I feel that the coach is going to be Will McElwain.

I was hoping for Brian Harsin since he also plays in the conference championship. But since Jim McElwain has been interview twice! I have a bad feeling. Why is he not listening to other people? Is he that blind and stupid?

Barry Odom is slightly better than McElwain. If not the same. I am not exited and that is what he failed to see the majority do not like McElwain hired if true.
Again you talking Florida to Mizzou! How is that better? Muschamp same thing!

Most of you wanted Barry Odom fired but I believe something happened from day one! The quarterback looks like to be the head coach killer! He was bad at those games when we lost. But could have replaced OC to give another chance. But could not get anyone better than Barry Odom?
