I used to go there in the late 70's before you got charged to get in. One summer my routine was to ride my Kaw out there, dive off the point past the steel ladder, swim to the far side, climb the rope, jump off the high side and swim back to fire up a friend and figure out what I was going to do that day.
Most of those mornings I was the only one there.
At night we had keggers in the hole halfway down the high side. I've seen more than one person disappear in to the night only to hear a splash a few seconds later.
Fun place to party! They have zip lines now.

So the daughter visited Mizzou today and fell in love with it. Think that decision is all but made.

My daughter is pretty locked in to that decision right now. Stuff could change obviously (she is only FR).

Ok, nobody is kicking anybody's arse tonight, not in Farmington, or at the lake, or at any White Castle, got it? Good.
Cause if y'all start kicking each other's asses, I'll have to open that 50 gallon drum of whoop-arse, and I'm just too tired and have had too much to drink.

JR here. Freshman year it was Stanford and Ole Miss. Sophomore year was Alabama and Arkansas. This year it's been Vandebilt and Butler (Think a friend's doing). Mizzou has been the one constant and today did it I think. Ummmm, I'm sure they know, but every tour of the school needs to include a tour of the Rec Center.
