Not just the numbers. I saw a complete game of what we'd catches glimpses of before. Can't remember any dropped balls. He was going and getting the ball, using his size to his advantage. Wanting the ball more than the other guy. I understand he might have had some mismatches, but it was the way in which he played that impressed me more than the results.

Thoughts?

by far his best game as a Tiger... he has all the potential in the world to be an absolute beast.

The potential is there. It's going to take him deciding that he wants to be the best player on the field in any given game for that potential to be maximized. I thought I saw a bit of that attitude come out today instead of just relying on his athletic ability.

This might have been more of an issue with Kentucky's CB's, I don't want to take anything away from DGB but he was playing against bad competition.

I think the QBs haven't been in love with him so far in his career because of the stuff we've all seen and complained about like lack of field position awareness, the tendency to drop a ball or two, running routes that are just "okay."

Today he proved he could make it work (like everyone knew he could) and was rewarded with passes and scoring chances. I'm glad it happened, but if he drops the first ball he's targeted with in the Ole Miss game I suspect the ball will be spread out a bit more than it was today.

I think this was a great game for him, the team, and especially for the game film. Hopefully Ole Miss concentrates on DGB and opens up some of the other weapons in two weeks.

He is finally using his hands now. To many times before he let the ball into his body trying to cradle the ball.

His 10 yrd run with all the broken tackles was impressive also.

Today was the first time he looked totally aware and awake.

In the past he's always been in sort of a stupor. He's always looked kind of lost, confused and it's taken away from his aggresivness.

I don't know about numbers, but just the way he impacted a game single handedly, it may be the biggest impact from a WR since one of those big Denario games.

I think he will be sad to see Franklin come back. Mauk seems to make it more of a point to look his way. May go back to them being good friends. That and when DGB is focused he truly is the ultimate weapon at WR.
