He was completing 70% of his passes coming into this game. He's pretty good.

There is however the possibility that BO is holding the defense back in prep for the SEC games. There just has to be an explanation.

I'm not judging the standard vs the 85 bears here. Keeping points off the board is a good job for this defense.

you said the defense was playing fine. What was I watching? At that exact time of your post they had given up 180 yards with 7 minutes remaining in the half. Given up a 3rd and +15 and 3rd and 10. This is UConn. Just as the offense is blowing them up, the defense should be also. I try to respect the fact that you are sticking with BO, but if you think 400 yards from your "Defensive Guru" vs UConn is OK then I'm done.

Yes, 3rd downs are a HUGE issue. We are one of the worst in the country.
I do like the return of the pass rush recently though, and yes I understand who we are playing, but pressure on the QB can mask a lot of deficiencies.

Why would you say that arse wipe? I’ll take 6 wins this year, and all of them by 1 point, and be thrilled to death! You think we should beat everyone by 20 or more to keep from being embarrassed? If that’s the case, look in the mirror....you’ll see what an egghead really looks like!
