While certainly not great, CM has done a decent job imo of adjusting after losing his best player. Which made me wonder, what would BO have done this last season if he lost Lock before the first game?

I'm thinking 2-10 or 3-9.

Cuonzo had 6 years of head coaching experience at the D1 P5 level before he got hired at Mizzou. Barry Odom and Kimbo Anderson had zero combined.

We get it, you hate BO

Talk about something else for fricks sake.

Every thread you start is about how much BO sucks.

Also, the comparison is laughable

Did you know just about any team would not be good without their star quarterback. Again quarterback is the most important position in football.

BO won't have Lock next year and he went out and got a transfer who will be in a new system, so we will judge him next season.

BO has broken your brain. You used to be a pretty good poster.

This is what a rebuild looks like I am fine with the job both coaches have done so far. Eventually I want both coaches to break through and compete for the conference championship. But I’m ok if that doesn’t happen immediately.

Possibly.

He’s got way too much time on his hands if that’s the case.

He legitimately hates BO though

I am wondering why he hates BO? Maybe BO turned him down an offer?

I don't hate BO. I think it's a fair question. In fact, the argument could be made, CM's job is tougher because he lost 1/5 of his starting line up.

So I guess the better question would be, how would BO do if he had lost Lock and Rountree while playing offense and TBJ and Hall when playing defense.

Might not have won a game.

If one can't give a rational opinion on BO because if you say "BO blew it in the UK game" a select few take that as you saying BO should be fired and that you hate BO.

Sooooo, even though I never said BO should be fired, I thought if that is going to be the select fews response to everything then let's see what it would look like if I really did say it all the time. And actually, I still haven't said he should be fired.

Oh, and some just can't resist biting.

The fair comparison to CM would be if whoever wins the QB battle (presumably Bryant) goes down to injury the week before the season starts. Then it would be a fair comparison.

Which is why I say CM is better than BO. CM has been able to put together some resemblance of a basketball team despite losing his best player. BO could never do the same thing.

This has taken an interesting turn. The board mod now has a singular purpose of trolling said board.

Let’s see how this plays out...
