ULM or not, 94 missed tackles and 1300+ yards and 13TDs is impressive as hell as a true freshman. Bet his season ends up better than Lacy.
Now we need a true dual threat QB.

Not sure we are looking at a qb I think we’re trusting horn is enough of a bridge to zollers and we don’t want to alienate zollers

Horn is better than every QB we've considered in portal ...
Has been in system for 2 years ...
Just hope he doesn't get hurt pitching, drafted ... or then we get Pyne'd ...

Yea. That’s why you don’t fricking bank on Horn. Stupid as hell to put your trust and n one guy then have a fricked season with Pyne.
And how good Horn actually is at the collegiate level remains massively unknown. At least Pribula has played real games and has real tape.

The sand it took a bag of money to get dollars here. It’s gonna take more bags to keep him here and if you bring someone that can hinder his chance to start in 2026 he might be enticed to leave.

Based on what exactly? Recruiting rankings coming out of high school? He has not shown anything to prove he can play QB at a high level in the SEC more than Pribula or Moss has. And he’s coming off an injury with a high likelihood of needing a revision surgery if he continues to pitch, which it sounds like he plans to. I wanted Horn to work out at Mizzou but unless he gives up baseball, it would be foolish to expect him to be QB1.

Drink wouldn't be bringing QBs in for visits if he thought he could "bank" on Horn. We'll bring another QB into the fold, just not sure who and when. Also, the days of worrying about offending recruits (Zollers) are over, hence the portal madness. We want guys who won't back away from competition anyway.

Totally agree with this. If you pout, you're out...

Having seen the kid play in high school in person, I can attest that he's more athletic than every kid Drink was looking at, with a bigger arm and a dual threat.
I believe if he didn't have TJ, he would have taken over for Cook (post injury) and probably wouldn't have given the job back.
His two knocks: maturity and field vision. I gotta believe if he gets the reps, he's gonna be a junior and it's a valid bridge.

And football in GA at 6A/7A is on another level ...
Know I had these arguments before and someone posted how some 6A Missouri school beat some 3A Georgia school ... not even a comparison.
But Horn led his teams to back-to- back state title games (winning the second) and it's the reason he was highly ranked ...
Question is: Has he grown up? And has his field vision gotten better (he was basically like Cook ... always looking for Burden ... but with Travis Hunter on his HS team)

Agreed. Not on talent though ...
It's that Horn also has a 96-98 FB that has MLB scouts salivating over him.

Crutchfield gone. Looks like we have a spot for another WR, unless they think Donovan O. can play as a freshman.

He needs to give up baseball then. Working on the little things to be a better QB requires focus. Maybe he can do it. There are precious few that have pulled off QB at a high level and a full season secondary sport.

Crutchfield gone.
Makes sense.
Kid has Joshua Manning and James Madison ahead of him in depth for next season ...
Going back home to AR to have inaccurate balls thrown to him by Taylen Green ...

Yeah, it's a fricking joke. I hope these dudes don't expect to sell any personalized merchandise, like their jerseys, when they get to campus. Ain't nobody with a brain buying that shite.

I wonder if not having a decent QB on roster is having anything to do with it.

If other WRs defect then maybe. Something tells me that's not Crutchfield's reason for leaving though.
