I agree. I believe he will be a really good 4 next year and hopefully the next two years.

Yes, it’s been since Tolton, but it ain’t rocket science to catch a BB down low and turning to the basket and jump up to throw it down. I know, I coached 5th grade girls BB, and if I can teach them, it shouldn’t be a reach for a supposedly 5* player!

If you taught fifth grade girls to dunk in the post, your talents are being underutilized.

Lol...I wish! It was tough for some of them to even throw the ball high enough to get to the rim. But I did have 1 tall girl (for 5th grade standards) that played the triangle in the post, and I had 2 others that had some skill. We fed the post. She pivoted and shot. Game over!

I was a asst. high school coach for basketball and baseball many years ago.
I was a good high school player(not D1 talent) and the jump to college is extremely hard. The small things that are easy in HS changes when you play against better talent.
Jontay is young and still needs to adapt to the next level. We have seen glimpses of his talent and the more he plays the more he will adapt. He has the talent to take over games and he can when he slows down the game mentally. He has never been the go to guy on a team, but he will be soon.

True, it’s a big jump, but once again, he’s supposedly a 5* player that’s 6’11. Shouldn’t be that big of a jump for him!
