Well you might get to see him back at Central in a couple of years. KA is a good guy that is in over his head unfortunately.

I posted yesterday when I was pretty pissed off after the debacle of a game. Probably wasn't the best time to do it. I have been a KA supporter and guess I still am. I understand this is a young team, and certainly bad this year.

I'm willing to blow off this season and not hold it against KA because I really like the guy. Some major improvement has to be shown in year 2 though, the fanbase will demand it.

Some of you guys are better at x and o's than I am, I will concede that, but KA is not getting the most out of the talent he does have, or all the recruiting services are wrong when it comes to rating this years players. I don't consider Rivals and such as the holy grail when it comes to evaluating talent, but I also doubt they are all wrong.

I want KA to succeed in a big way for all the obvious reasons, but as of yet, he hasn't impressed me with this shite show that's going on. It's really hard to be patient when there is no way we should be sitting at the bottom of a very average basketball conference. This program should be much better than that, regardless.

Did you mean 2,500 greek students? No way in hell there are anything remotely close to 25,000 greek students at MU. That would be almost every student at MU is in a frat or sorority.

He's the coach. He'll be our coach for years to come. I hope he wins every game we play. It's foolhardy to think that this season is all on the players though.

Hopefully KA along with the players all learn and grow because lord knows they all have plenty of room for it, KA included.

Interesting post on the TB from someone who traveled in town for the game. Guy didn't come off as a whiner. He genuinely was excited to be going to the game. He said it was strange, sitting down low, that you would hear Kennedy coaching during the game but you never heard KA. Same for during timeouts.

Does anyone think we'll get to double digit wins?

We're currently at 6 or 7, depending on if you count a win over a D2 school.

I'm beginning to think we won't even make double digits, which I thought was a realistic expectation this year.

They have been super close to another 3-4 wins, ultimately it will depend what type of mental toll the losses have on the team.

We are only favored in 2 of the remaining games. Home against Auburn & MSU.

And we almost lost to SEMO, Elon and LSU among others.

I do agree with you about the mental toll. I saw fire in the UK game. I saw throwing in the towel in the OM game.

If we get to double digit wins it will be a miracle. I think it might be more likely we are done winning this season.

Without a doubt Mizzou gets 10-11 wins. & 12 isn't out of the question.

Final: Alabama 62, Missouri 49. Tigers fall to 7-15, 1-8 in SEC. 8-game skid is team's longest since '73-'74

Wonder what the longest is?

Mizzou averaging 61.4 points per game. Media guide only goes back to 1955. Since then, lowest scoring team averaged 63.0 ppg in '57-'58

And we'll get to 12 wins?

Eight of Mizzou's 15 losses have come by double digits, including last three

I wish you were right about 12 wins, but no way man.

We've got 10 guaranteed games left.

Getting to 12 wins requires us to win 5 of them.

That's not going to happen. Looking at the remaining schedule, I have us going 2-8 for a final record of 9-23. I honestly would be quite surprised if we hit double digit wins.
