It's still a long shot. That SC game was the game Mizzou needed. They failed to take care of buisness and it may cost them this year for the NCG. All because the D failed to cover numerous screen plays. That killed'm.

But I don't see Mich. St. beating OSUe. Getting past Auburn may be possible but Bama is a whole different conversation. Bama is so well coached in the trenches. They understand if you control the line of scrimmage, you control the game. I'm glad to see Mizzou is adopting this thought. But I don't see Auburn getting past Bama. It will be a good game though.

Mizzou has to get past aTm first. They can't just beat aTm, they have to dominate aTm wich won't be easy to do even at home. But if they watch the LSU/aTm game from yesterday, they have a blueprint on how to contain JFF and how to beat aTm. I think Mizzou can do it. I think aTm will come in over confident from the blowout last year and underestimate Mizzou. Then Pinkel just has to keep the foot on the gas pedal the whole game.

I just don't see it working out for us this year for a NCG. I hope I'm wrong.

If we beat Bama in the SECCG then I don't see how we don't jump Ohio State and go to the NCG.

If we beat Auburn in the SECCG I could see us missing out, but I would still like our chances.
