I haven't been able to watch many games live, but am watching the replay of this one as I type.

I already know about the 4th quarter screw job on the botched punt, but in the 1st half a punkass Kentucky player comes from 15 feet away to start a sideline altercation - only for Mizzou to get the Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty.

Now in the 3rd quarter McGuire stands a player up in the hole at least two feet short of a 1st on a 3rd and short - the line judge clearly spots him short by a foot - only to have the umpire come up from well behind the play to mark it a football length beyond the sticks. And of course Drink does nothing.

frick these SEC clowns. Charter members always seem to get the calls.

There a video someone did about how the refs were acting very suspect when giving them the first down too. Trying to find it but I didnt save it.

It was pathetic. The same line judge who marked him short was also pointing forward around his belly in sort of a 1st down signal. I wondered, "WTF is he doing?" Then the umpire comes up from behind the play and spots the ball from two feet short to a football length beyond.

That 3rd and short spot was ridiculous. The RB lost yardage and it was obvious to everyone. Mizzou needs to fake an injury there, have to counter SEC cheating with more SEC cheating

I think the fumble overturned in the 4th is actually the call that cost them the most. It was called a fumble. From the front i tlooked like the elbow was down. From the view over the Mizzou bench it was clearly moving early. But hey who needs "incontrovertible visual evidence" if you screwing Mizzou.

I was at the game so it's hard to tell and I haven't seen a video replay. But was the hit on Lovett late in the game targeting? Either way I didn't expect to get a favorable call. Hadn't gotten one all day. Didn't expect Mizzou to lose a down and yardage though.

Nah the hit was a shoulder pad to shoulder hit, no head or neck involved at all.

I could see that fricker stopped short on 3rd from 50+ rows up.

There was clear Rucker’s involved that game.

A lot of these were iffy, but there was a justification for all but the 1st down spot on the short 3rd down run.
We don't emphasize when these go our way. Like when our receiver (Lovett?) committed OPI against a SC receiver but the ref called PI against the defender. Wasn't a necessary call for us to win, but did happen when the game was still competitive.

"Drinkwitz said there were two spots in Saturday's game he could have challenged. McGuire's 3rd-and-1 stop & Stonehouse's run when he dropped the punt snap. Officials basically told him they didn't have a great angle and it would be a wasted challenge"
