Speaking of that wait until after next season when the starters will be mostly BO recruits. Dark days

It’s already mostly BO recruits that will start next season.
On defense only Hall, Lee and TBJ will start, that we’re recruited when GP was the HC. And BO was a key recruiter in both TBJ and Hall being here.
There’s a few more GP leftovers on offense. Lock, Hall, Adams, and Pendleton.

So that’s 2/3rds of next year’s starters that BO recruited.

11-14...that's all that matters.

This year, 6-0 vs. non-bowl teams. 0-7 vs. bowl teams. We've been the Missourah Cupcake Eaters for 2 years under HCBO.

Odom needs to beat a ranked team badly. Until this happens, there will be a lot of grumbling. His best win so far is 2016 arky. Then we basically beat the same arky team on the road in '17. Good, but not great.

We have talent. Why not go into Bama and beat em? Easy...heck no. Possible...heck yes. We did it when I was in school. In my predictions, I will pick a loss to Bama because I'm not a sunshine pumper and try to be real. But Odom really needs Saban's head on the wall or some other big HC.

We have UGA at home in '18, that's an advantage. We can beat 'em. Should have beat them in '16 if the ROOKIE HC knew anything about game management. Even the happy UGA fans were in total shock but sure did appreciate the easy gift.

When we were 1-5 this year, I wanted blood. When Mizzou got to 6 wins, I was glad to eat crow and attend the bowl game. Odom EARNED another year with a nice assist from the schedule Gods. The nice padded stats do not mean zip. If he starts at 1-5 or 2-4 again in 2018, I say fire him then because that will be THREE years in a row. That's an ugly pattern. HCBO has 12 or less games to prove he is worthy in my eyes. The jury is still out.

I do believe that Odom will be a successful coach in the future. Great guy, sure. But he is not "HC ready" now when we need him the most.

JMHO and all that it is worth. I have a boat-load of serious doubt.

This is so funny....I remember the Al Onofrio days. This ain’t grumbling. Back then we would beat a Notre Dame or Ohio St, top 25 or even top 10 teams, then lose the next week to an Illinois, or other crap team. Now, then there was grumbling!
A win is a win. Take it and like it no matter who it is!
Everyone wanted Onofrios head on a stick. How could he beat a top 10 team, then get waxed by a nobody? Poor coaching everyone said. Lol....this was before computers and social media. I was on the sidelines when Illinois beat us the week after we beat a really good team. Whiskey bottles, rocks, and everything else was thrown towards the bench.
I guess at least we’re beating the teams we should beat, even though most of them have better talent than us! Just not good enough for some! I suspect our sights are set a little too high for the Talent we get!
