Herrera will appeal and hopefully it will buy enough time for Holland to get back from the D.L.

Think the radio said that was the plan.

I just hope he's back for the series in Oakland. I would definitely want him available. I figure if Vagina Lawrie is playing, Herrera can just go get his due. Lawries mouth cost him 5 games, whats 5 more for a good heater right on the hip? Seems like a fair trade to me.

You know. I just thought of something. They should play Godsmacks "cry'n like a bitch" song every time he comes out of the dugout.

Over reacting to kazmir hitting cain on the toe pretending it was intentional was stupid.

Kilo, I'm not trying to be confrontational or anything, but check this out. Scott Kazmir has thrown 3,721 2 seam fastballs in his career. The one circled in red is the one that hit Lorenzo Cain. On top of what I already presented in my earlier post about why I think it was intentional, I add this too. Seems like a huge "coincidence" for him to hit Cain here.

Jafo, don't get too worked up over Suisfarter and his posts. He's clearly some cardinals troll trying to bestow his "BFIB" bullshite upon us.

I'm not. It may appear that way. I just have a lot to get off my chest and he just provides the avenue. I'm also just having fun with it, hence the joe buck remark. Absolutely nothing to do with the conversation, I just don't like joe buck, even more so after the WS. But it's what dedicated loyal fans do, defend their teams.

I'm damn proud of being a Royals fan. Herrera has always been my favorite player. Just love a pitcher that can flat throw the heat. But I'm more so proud, and it may make some ball fans sick to hear this, that Herrera did what he did. His job, by protecting his teammates. It's only 5 games and was worth every one.

Didn't see any of whatever raised this stink. Not even replays. But my look at it is probably outside of the norm. If I feel you've played dirty (hit my team mate or came in with spikes up or whatever), I'm gonna hit you. That picture shows it no where near the head. Good, hard nosed baseball if you ask me. If I get suspended a game, so be it. I'd do it again if the same situation arises.

Royal fans not being able to see where the team crossed the line is the bigger issue.

We don't care about lines. Don't frick with our players and you don't have to worry about getting plunked. It's that simple.

Nice win last night over the twins. This Royals team really gets it. You could see it last fall starting to emerge.

You can see the team sincerity of being a team. No one is focusing on themselves. You could see it in Morales's last at bat. He took a homerun hack, seen he had two strikes with a baserunner on and took what the pitching gave him instead of trying to swing forbthe fences. They are all doing it. Moose hitting to opposite field, Gordo gets his first homer. Good sound baseball. A sweep tonight would be nice to keep the pressure on Detroit.

Yikes. Guthrie threw 48 balls and 49 strikes.

Royals are 3-3 vs Minnesota and 8-1 vs everyone else

I hate to say it, but I think Guthrie is close to the end of his career. He depends heavily on location accuracy. He seems to be losing that. It really started last year. Hope Finnigan is getting close to ready. They said Pino could be a possible starter too.

Vargas is the same pitcher as Gutherie but left handed. I think he's close to the end too.

Going to have to start looking for some new starters.

Yeah I think I agree with you. Guts might be better served for long relief when needed. He was fading the second half of last year and he seems to just be off. Still he did a pretty decent job of recovering after the 1st inning. The team just appeared to be completely uninterested in that game last night.

Sale today....

That was all Ventura's fault. I'm halfway between being embarrassed and just embracing our general POSness. I love the edge our team has but...that was just stupid by Ventura. That being said....Jeff Smardzija is a fricking bitch.

Ventura is a hot head. All i can say is our pitchers don't take no shite, stick up for the hitters.

So we have beef with Angels, Oakland, Chi Sox. Wonder what Detroit series will be like.

Ventura is such a naturally gifted pitcher. Dynamic stuff and ability but he is kind of an immature moron at this point. Hopefully he matures because he has top flight stuff.

He's kind of a jackass, but honestly, he's a 23 year old kid who just got promoted to Ace of a contending MLB team and making multi-millions of dollars. No surprise why he's cocky as shite right now.

Hopefully he'll grow up over the next few years though.

Yep, I agree.

The ceiling is very high for that young man.
