Not even listed on the roster according to Matter. Hope he makes it, would be a huge blow.

Pete mentioned on Friday that there was some issue with a class and he could be delayed up to 3 weeks. The roster thing is new and surprising, but hopefully he will still be here soon.

I don't think he can be part of hte team until he is cleared, that would include being on the roster.

Academics is the biggest reason why Mizzou couldn't get good recruits in the 80's and 90's. Yeah bad football teams on the field didn't help but that's what got it all started. How many of our recruits have had to go to JUCO cause they couldn't make the grades?

I don't know for sure, academic eligibility was my guess.

I think they gave it to Carberry for this season. Carberry is a senior who had walked on. Agree, as far as using it for next years class though.

Almost for sure he needs to go through the NCAA Clearinghouse, happens all the time this is not related to 80's era Mizzou bullshite. Richardson went through the same thing coming out of JUCO.

Don't we hear the same thing from GP until it becomes official either way? Meaning what he says is meaningless on these issues. In other words, he is working off of the anticipation that they will be cleared until they're officially not cleared and at this point essentially he has no idea what the NCAA will do?

I'm saying he has to work off the assumption that Ross will be there until he's told by the NCAA otherwise. And I think that's all his statements mean.
