I'm not buying that bullshite. They gave up 40 to MOST, don't give me the talent nonsense. BO gets caught with his pants down constantly on defense.

No one talked "rebuild" until BO's pressy meltdown.

Was it a rebuild when BO took over? No. Even the BO brown nose squad here agreed there was enough talent to win 8- 9 game. That doesn't sound like a rebuild.

Now it might be a rebuild now after a year and a half of BO's piss poor leadership.

However I still look at the talent we have here and still believe we should be 7-5 minimum.

Mizzou puts almost no pressure on opposing QBs, that due to not having enough talent.
The last not way to get pressure has been to blitz, but that exposes holes in secondary.

Who on Mizzou’s defense could start on other mid tier SEC teams?
TBJ and Hall could. Maybe Frazier. None in the secondary. Lee has looked better against Kentucky.

There is hope for the future, Williams, Turner, Byers and Whiteside all freshmen have each had a few plays that show potential.

the rebuild works, if he didnt have the offense he had, coming back.

this team is a train wreck on both sides of the ball and special teams.

poorly coached all the way down the line. the OL coach is only one doing his job

No one is saying that BO and his staff are doing a great job. Just that talent, especially defensive talent is just as big of a problem.

Wait a second. I was told all these guys were top notch as we were signing them and that I just need to trust BO.

If "nobody" was talking a rebuild after the 2015 season then "nobody" doesn't have a clue.

Yes though, we should be better than we are. We don't seem to be progressing at all and there is a lot of mediocrity and worse in this league right now.

BO has only signed 2 classes. In GPs model most players didn’t see the field much until their 3rd season. The success rate of the 2014 & 2015 classes has been really poor. Those are classes before BO was the HC. That’s also the players that should be the core of this team, there’s not many of them.

BO and his staff will have to coach better down the stretch or he won’t get a chance to show if he can develop players.

Please, a competent coach who doesnt nuke the defense easily wins 6 or 7 games last year. UGA and MTSU should have been wins, but Barry thought Cover 0 was a good idea in the final minute of the game.

No one is going to argue the defensive talent has dropped off, but what's the excuse for returning 10 offensive starters and scoring 3 pts vs Purdue?

Coaching, period.

#1 - Mizzou doesn't rebuild. Mizzou recruits and develops. To rebuild, you need top recruits that fill needs right away, that's not Mizzou's persona.

#2 - GP's secret weapon, stable coaching staff. No hope of that with BO. wouldn't be suprised if a few didn't jump ship this offseason. There is no hope of top notch assistants signing on with BO for 2018.

#3 - Revenue, revenue, revenue. The football teams empty seats affects all non-revenue sports. This is the AD's resposibility. He has to have asses in the seats for football and basketball.

#4 - Other coaches having success makes BO look bad. If Babers, Brohm and Campbell can pull it off with their talent, whats BO's excuse?

Nobody is making excuses. We should be performing better, no doubt.

1. By that definition, and you are correct btw, that takes time. Probably won't be granted the time if he can't finish strong.

2. I don't disagree. Wilson bailed on him and Shipp got in an altercation with a player. Cross was fired. Rightfully. It's funny though because I remember a lot of talk of GP being TOO loyal to his coaches. Win and nobody cares how you do it.

3. Yup. This will likely be BO's downfall.

4. Meh. Brohm looks like a winner. Babers and Campbell have pulled off one upset a piece and have been pretty bad otherwise. If We beat Georgia tonight, are we all of a sudden singing BO's praises? Doubt it.

I've already stated that if Odom can beat Georgia tonight he should get another year.

Well that's not going to happen. BO will have pulled a lucky shamrock out of his are if he can just come in covering the 30 point spread. If so, I am sure that will be more than enough for "some" to sing the praises of giving him an extension saying he really needs it to land the top MO prospects cause that is why he is currently failing to do so. "Trout, Thompson and Perkins would be so much more likely to come"---you know how " some" do.
