Their schedule so far:

W 20-15 over Villanova
W 22-17 over Army

Here is a write up from one of the local papers about the game against Mizzou

This will be a low scoring game. Both offenses struggle.

UCONN had a solid defense last year and just about returns everyone from that defense

all the cardinals and royals gear is going to make a mess of that, you just know it will.

UCONNs D should be a perfect test for this offense. They are good at Rush D so they will test the running game which we need badly before the UK game.

Hopefully their weaker pass D will let our QB/WRs develop some rhythm heading into that UK game, too.

Our D should be able to handle whatever UCONN O throws at us.

STs are going to be scary until our return guys start looking better.

If they score over 10 points on us Id be real surprised. The don't run the ball very well, but their QB is mobile and they may present some issues but he's not Brad Smith or anything. Their passing offense has been decent, but they haven't faced a defense near the one we will run out there on Saturday. I don't anticipate many issues.

I'm more concerned with getting the ball rolling on offense. We have got to get more consistent moving the ball or the rest of the schedule is going to be a real struggle.

I didn't know Villanova had a Football program until I saw them play UConn. I'm not kidding.

Its not just the return team I'm concerned about, the coverage team also looked like shite.

Surprisingly enough, we are 20 to 21 point favorites against UConn

Seems like they'll have a decent showing for being a trillion miles away.

UConn's defense is good enough to shut down Missouri's sputtering offense via RockMNation

UConn's offense is probably still a big liability ... so is Missouri's. And the UConn defense could be successful enough to keep this game close.

The Boneyard is pretty entertaining to read sometimes, especially on realignment stuff.

Connecticut is a pretty nice little state. The best part of New England IMO. Far enough out of the city, good money, beautiful scenery.

I can't blame them for being optimistic after our poor offensive showing against ASU.

Our D is going to destroy their O.

Yeah? Hang out in Hartford after dark.

New Hampshire along the Vermont border is gorgeous. The Vineyard when there are no tourists is great. Rhode Island was amazing before Foxwoods was built.

Conn.... It was always full of escaping New Yorkers. Skip it.

It would be cool if a lot of them came to the game.

Be nice to them guys and gals.
