So, rumor is Heuple was the only coach recruiting Foster.

First, why didn’t BO tag along once or twice?

Second, and it’s a moot point, but why would Heuple focus on a dual threat qb?

Leads me to believe JJ has much more to do with the offense than we’ve been led to believe.

Just a random thought.

It hasn’t been a secret that Finley was a key to installing the offense Mizzou run. He’s also been key in game planning.

It’s why he’s the only guy on staff that being considered for the OC position.

Based on what I’m hearing, and it’s from afar kind of, not second hand afar, but just guys that are connected but busy with their own coaching gigs.

JJ is the man, and pushed the running game to even things out in that fast offense.

That was the difference in the second half of the season IMO.

Elarbee did work too in regards to pushing Roundtree and Ish to bigger roles after Crockett went down.

That’s the Baylor offense’s impact. When run correctly it’s a big time running offense.

Pretty sure dual threat QBs are his thing. He inherited Lock.

Huepel has had his best success with pass first QB’s. He coached Landry Jones and Sam Bradford at OU.

Having a QB that can do both is how RG3 became a star.

Micah is definitely a dual threat as well. I'd venture to say a better runner than Foster.

The good thing about our design is that both QB styles can be effective.

I think you folks are overhyping Foster.

Looks like Zanders 2.0.

Foster has a rifle and has 14 P5 teams recruiting him as a QB.

Zanders did not have a rifle and had 2 teams that recuited him as a QB. The other one was Georgia Tech.

Losing Foster sucks.

Foster is a very good prospect, but folks are being pretty liberal with the dual threat stuff. He's a decent athlete, but he is most certainly a pass first guy.
