Team is young.

When they made shots, they looked good.

When they stopped NC State, they looked good.

CVL would be awesome in a game of horse.

When we weren't turning the ball over, we looked really good.

Give them time.

Definite signs of program rebuilding going on.

Once they learn to play 60 minutes like they did that good 5 minutes, they'll win some games.

Yeah, they're done.

Anderson is done. This will be a very long rebuild for whomever takes over. Whenever they take over.

I seriously can't even get mad about this team. I stopped giving a shite a long time ago.

I just find it humorous when the inevitable defenders of justice show up.

There really is no defending this team as being any good. They're not. Will they be? Surely. Might be 2020 but they will be good again.

Maybe not. There is a ton of instate talent in the 2017, 2018, & 2019 classes.

With a proven coach there could be a quick rebuild.

Honestly this team SHOULD be good next year. Two 4*s who will be juniors with additional solid talent behind them. There is TALENT on this team. It just seems they are not well coached and developed. Anderson should not be the head coach next year and we should sell our souls for GM.

I doubt we can get a proven coach. The last four haven't been. Even if we do we will continue to struggle to get good instate kids. They just don't want to go to MU. The top guys want to go to UK, KU, Duke, UNC, etc.

Alden had a reputation of being hard to work with for BBall. Now that he is gone I do believe that MR will be able to get a higher quality coach. But you are right about in state kids not going to Mizzou. Rush was the last really high level in state recruit that chose to stay home.

We don't need the top guys. We just need a D1 coach and a 4 star every other year with a couple top 150 players every year.

Sure if we want to settle for the middle of the SEC pack and make an NIT every 3-4 years. I want us to compete for the good players in MO and make kids want to go to school here. It sucks kids like Michael Porter are in our backyard and they won't go to school here.

Our 30-5 team was made up of the above, 4-year players. A couple of 4 stars and about 8 top 150 players. That's all it takes.

Mizzou and KU are Porter's top 2 right now.

And we were in Tatum's final five and final four for his four star teammate and Thon Maker had a cup of coffee in CoMo.
