Why would any real man (or woman) fear a Killz sig pic?

Given the information you have divulged you must be at least in 40's. This suggests you could be suffering from memory loss, MS2 /=/ me

Why did you respond to Reedus' MS2 post? He was addressing MS2...not you.

Who will be hearing my case? Will I get a fair trial? Will I get to present evidence supporting my case?

If it's this lady I'm going to have to demand a new judge, and I hope you don't mind my choice for legal council. I've decided to go with Harper, Evans, Wade & Netemeyer mostly because they advertise an annoying commercial. We have requested a continuance to investigate these matters.

Butler has hit 30 in a season
-Gordon is now a sure bet for 20 every season
-Salvador Perez is only 23 and hit 13 last season and his power should continue to develop
-Hosmer had one HR at the June 1 mark last season, and finished with 18 HR's
-Moustakas is going to breakout this season, and has already hit 20 HR's in his first season but his numbers this spring suggest a much better approach he hit 4HR's but what was encouraging was he had more BB's than strikeouts

Gordon 20 HR 633 AB
Hosmer 17 HR 623 AB
Butler 15 HR 582 AB
Perez 13 HR 496 AB
Moustakas 12 HR 472 AB

I dont know, thats a troubling trend. Perez has some good upside but the longer Hosmer and Moustakas play in the league without increasing the power numbers the more alarming that becomes to me. Also the lack of only ONE of them hitting more than 30 doubles last year stands out.

If Perez's bat continues to mature as a big leaguer and Moustakas and Hosmer start living up to their potential then KC has a very nice lineup but Gordon and Butler have both regressed substantially last season offensively.

I understand why the Myers/Shields trade was made but the Royals may have just dealt the best one out of the Perez/Hosmer/Moustakas/Myers pod of top prospects.

And counsel for the prosecution, mainly because of his annoying billboards.

Here's what we have going for us. Moose played winter ball and our hitting coach, Pedro Grafol, was his manager. Supposedly they spent the winter tweaking his swing and it's paying off. We will see how this works soon, but his career pretty much rides on this season really. I think Moose will improve this year.

Also, we have a legit leadoff hitter this year which slides Gordon down to 5th behind billy, giving butler protection in the lineup he's never had. I predict better things for Billy and Gordon to stay about the same.

Everytrueson is in so count me in too. If nothing else, it should hopefully make the offseason go by a little faster on the Mizzou Board until football gets here again.

Alright good deal. I'm thinking we should set a sign up deadline of the all star game. This will give me a little more time to try and find some Royals fans.

I guess they can join whenever but joining late like that tells me either 1. They're gutless because they waited until their team was up in the win column before joining, or 2. They're stupid for joining after their team is down in the win column.

Looking at some starting pitching.

Shields
Career: 100-82 3.79
Last Year: 13-9 3.15
Wainwright
Career: 99-57 3.11
Last Year: 19-9 2.94

Advantage: Cardinals

Vargas
Career: 51-58 4.30
Last Year: 9-8 4.02
Wacha
Career: 4-1 2.78
Last Year: 4-1 2.78

Advantage: Cardinals

Ventura
Career: 0-1 3.52
Last Year: 0-1 3.52
Miller
Career: 16-9 2.94
Last Year: 15-9 3.06

Advantage: Cardinals

Guthrie
Career: 70-89 4.24
Last Year: 15-12 4.04
Lynn
Career: 34-18 3.82
Last Year: 15-10 3.97

Advantage: Cardinals

Chen
Career: 80-76 4.49
Last Year: 9-4 3.27
Kelly
Career: 15-12 3.08
Last Year: 10-5 2.69

Advantage: Cardinals

RECAP

I said it in jest before, but I really question if the Royals #1 would make the Cardinals rotation at all now that I look at it. I don't know that Shields could take Kelly's spot given the chance. The outlook is even worse for Royals' fans if you think about it. One question: Would you rather have Shields on your team or would you rather have the Cardinals' setup man, Carlos Martinez, in your starting rotation?

Unless I'm looking at the numbers cross-eyed, the Royals have 3 pitchers with career losing records. The other two....barely above .500.

Trying to find the silver lining for Royals fans, I suppose it seems like they have more experience. With Ventura, their average age is like 45. Without him, their average age is like 52. As opposed to the Cardinals who, with Wainwright, their average age is like 28. Without him, the average age is like 24. That experience has to count for something.

I was thinking in case we have new users sign up for the Mizzou board who may want in on the action.
