Had a perfect game with 2 outs in 9th inning before Tabata leaned into pitch to break it up.Only given up 1 hit and struck out 26 his last 2 starts.Has been proudly repping his alma mater for years now.Good for him.Didn't the Cardinals draft him in the later round one year?If the STL can't win it all I will be pulling for Nationals this year.

I wish I hadn't watched the video of that HBP. What a bullshite way to lose the perfect game! I guess at least it wasn't as bad as how Gallarraga lost his...

yea that was a rough way, tabata was having a good battle with him and then he acted like a bitch. I usually like the pirates but i wouldn't mind seeing cutch or someone get earholed for that move.

That is a tough way to lose a perfect game, but every umpire always gives the batter a base every time they lean into the pitch like that.At least he still got the no hitter.
