Like I said, only if he was going to breakout but no way to know that.
I can't wait to see who does step up. Games can't get here soon enough.

I was a little discouraged listening to Odom's interview today regarding the WR. He said he was going to play a lot of guys and I really don't like that. I think you need to figure out your top 5-6 guys and those guys are the ones who get the vast majority of the snaps. Helps with rhythm for both them and the QB.
If you've got to play 10 it's probably because you don't have 5 guys that are really good.

2013 had about 8 guys that played a decent amount. I don't think playing several WRs is a bad thing. Especially with so many that haven't differentiated themselves.

His definition of a lot of guys is hopefully just different. Hopefully he means 5 or 6 guys. Though I could see a situation where the number is a bit hire.
You have to figure that Black and Moore are gonna get snaps. I would imagine Hall does as well. From there, you have to think Johnson and from the talk Mason are going to get snaps. That's 5 already. It's purely a guess, but I'd imagine he could be talking about a guy like Justin Smith also being used but only in red zone situations. Not so much in a regular rotation.
Can't wait for the games, because I don't see how guys like Dilosa and Blair are anything but on the outside looking in.

Not really. It was DGB, Lucas, Washington, Hunt and Sasser for the most part. Guys like White and Copelin got a little time, but not too much and mostly when the game was out of reach.
For the most part, the top 5 guys got the snaps. That's kind of my point and if guys aren't separating themselves then that's not a good thing.

Here's my question...how many games before we hit a 60 yd FG?
Seriously though. I think our special teams are going to be significantly improved. We know we had a punter. Now (assuming he continues on the same path), we have a legit kicker. Just as importantly for field position if nothing else is the return game should be vastly improved. I almost felt bad for Lock last year, a deer in headlights freshman having to start drives inside his own 10. A recipe for disaster.

Dilosa, Collins, & Laurent were mentioned as the top guys to replace Brown. Ahead if guys like Hall, Smith, Johnson.

Yeah I read that I just have a hard time believing that until I see it. I just hope that if a walk on plays its because he's that good and not because they swung and missed so badly on the scholarship guys.

Dilosa should have been playing more last year. He has good hands, a 40" vert and blocks his position well.

Moore is going to start for sure. Black most likely will. Hall is my guess for the other spot.
We still have so many damn WR it's anybody's guess. Literally no one would surprise me at this point.

Haven't heard a lot about Justin Smith, but last year I know he had a good camp. His size is enticing...

On Matters chat today he said that Dilosa was his best guess for starting.
