Driving by campus last Friday after helping my daughter move into an apartment. MU's new growth by Stadium Blvd looks so good to this old alum. When I was there in the mid 90s, most of campus had the old-established Hearnes Center look and feel.
Compared to that, campus now has so much new and improved expansion going up. The Hospital area has grown so much. Athletics has so many new facilities with an appealing look. Of course, Memorial Stadium looks like a new creature (NEZ is coming along nicely). And there are so many new dorms and parking solutions there within sight of Stadium now.
Just good to see as our old school competes in this modern world for athletes for the various sports and students in general.

Access really, really sucks at the moment. So much construction between the widening of 70 and the way overdue modernization of the 63/70 interchange and corridor. As a result, all the overpasses over 70 from Lake of the Woods to Stadium will have to come down and be widened and raised. By ‘27 all roadways and UMHC expansion are scheduled to be completed and Columbia and our footprint in the SEC will look completely different
