Going around the STL coaching circles that Ramey is a done deal to Mizzou.

That will fill a huge need. If Jontay is back I am expecting an all American type of season from him. Mizzou would have a very solid starting 5 of
Ramey
Grad transfer
Santos
Porter
Tilmon

Add Geist, Watson, Puryear as the top reserves and that’s a tournament team.

That's a young, but very talented team.

I believe it when he's signed, a month ago we had zero chance at getting him.

That's the question, why? I've heard Martin wasn't recruiting him because he had no interest in playing here.

What changed? The fact we're a tournament team?

It’s probably a combination of things. For 1 his top schools landed higher rated recruits at his position.

Most importantly, they are winning. 2nd, there is a clear path to the floor.

But why wouldn't you offer a kid, in your backyard who is one of the best at a position mizzou most needed. doesnt make sense. Even if you dont think you have a chance.

Well I don't think Cuonzo expected Harris and Phillips to both be gone, so where would Ramsey have played?

Ramey had no interest in coming to Mizzou prior to them showing they could win and Martin doesn't strike me as a person that wastes resources on uninterested players.

Hope this is true. Apparently the south carolina crew stopped in and met with him today.

I'm hearing it's because MPJ told him over the weekend that he's coming back. Apparently winning a national championship for a team that's never won one means something to him as much as money.

Maybe I'm the only person on this board that doesn't get the fascination with Ramey He's Geist in my opinion. I know...I'm a troll!
He makes too many mistakes and his handles are sort of suspect to me. I like Mario McKinney better in big games even though he doesn't come out until 2020.

Just an example:

Funny I have thought that McKinney was as a much better version of Geist.
Not really a 1 and not really a 2, but super tough and will challenge anyone in the court.

Also McKinney is a 2019 recruit. Yuri Collins got the better of McKinney today. MSHSAA had the 2 best class 4 teams play in the sectional.

Yeah maybe we could steal Ayo form IL

IDK if Ramey is all that either but he fills a big need and who knows how he will develop.
