Columbia Daily Tribune said there is mutual interest in a Pinson return. I don’t see it happening

“However, it gets more interesting, as LSU transfer and former Missouri guard Xavier Pinson also has received interest from Missouri that appears to be mutual.”

yes. He keeps making cryptic posts about returning. 2 days ago he uploaded a pic of him in a mizzou jersey and said "might need to get back into this uniform"

Both him and Gates are from Chicago, and he have a massive hole to fix at PG. Plus I'd think X coming back helps keep Brown too.

If this happens, we're likely 2 players away from being a tournament team next year.

I think he’s going to return. He’s been posting about coming back to Mizzou and old photos/highlights of him in a Mizzou uni for several days in a row now. I think he always liked MU but the relationship with CM went south.

I’d be more surprised at this point if he didn’t come back to Mizzou.

I hope he is back. Only Mizzou Jersey I have is a Pinson one. Would like for it to be relevant again

I also have a #1 Mizzou jersey.

It’s Jimmy McKinney

I grew up in the Quin era, which used to be a negative thing…but after the shite I’ve watched the last 8 years, I’d get Ricky Clemons’d all over again!

Cuonzo really did have the strangest grudge against him. Would pull him for a single mistake when he was our leading scorer, etc. All the fans saw that we were generally better with Pinson on the floor, but Cuonzo continued to treat him like a Freshman for some reason

I've only followed a little of this, mostly from posts over the last few years on here, but Pinson seemed to like Missouri... but Martin had some weird grudge against him.

He's a Senior + (COVID) so he's been there and done that. With what looks to be a put together team (that isn't an insult, that is becoming the norm) an experienced Senior at PG is something you can really build around.

When Pittman was rebuilding Arkansas football he went with Felipe Franks as the QB because Franks was an experienced Senior who had been there and done that. I very much doubt we would have made the improvements we made in the second year if we had not had a steadying influence like Franks in that first year on the field.

A Senior PG who has been there and done that would be a real Godsend for Missouri.
