Of the 7 teams we've faced, only two are above .500 (WY at 5-2 and SEMO 4-3). I'm not sure what that tells me, besides the fact that we've beaten lousy teams. And lost to a 1-5 Vandy, fer cryin' out loud. Given up on them this year? Yes, I think I have. I've pounded my forehead enough for one season.

South Carolina and Ole Miss are not lousy. Vandy sure is though.

Well, maybe not real lousy, but SC is 3-4 and Ole Miss is 3-5. Beating them shouldn't result in chest-pounding.

So we are 1-1 against teams with a winning record. Fortunately one was an FCS team. Damn JQ is correct, we are a lot better than it seems at first glance

Some of the below .500 teams will make a bowl (USCjr comes to mind.)

Here's BO versus bowl-eligible opponents

2016: 3-8
2017: 0-6
2018: 5-5
2019: TBD

I am not 100% sure who is actually at fault. I know it does go with the coaching staffs first then players. But I have seen Kelly Bryant not played very well at those two games that cost Missouri wins. I know there was coaching mistakes as well. Also other players did not play well either. But if you see all the games Kelly Bryant played and those two games seems to be his worst games. Also they were away games. Why was that different from last year? I think Barry Odom did not take those two games seriously to make sure there is no let down.

Post your own reason for those two losses. This is for anyone who want to pin point their own opinion on who is at fault for those two losses.

I agree. Not lousy. But also not very good.

Every single person within the program holds responsibility. I know where the buck stops too.

It's the SEC guys, any average team could end up with an L at the end of the day. Look at Ole Miss and Tennessee last year vs Vandy.

This team was looking ahead to Kentucky and overlooked Vandy.

When a team comes out with no intensity and plays undisciplined football it is 100% a coaching issue.
