Worst fanbase in CFB. We went there in 11 and I have nothing but bad memories. Glad we whipped them and hope Mizzou does the same.

Anyone thinking this game is a loss is really quite stupid. All new coaches, new schemes, losses almost all their playmakers, and 2nd game of the season. Yes, they are a P5 team, but that’s a LOT to overcome. Most WV fans I know expect a 4 win season. Complete rebuild for WV.

That's the way it's supposed to be at least.

I think you run all over them. 250+ yds on the ground easily. They may not throw for over 150 against you either so I’m saying it’s a 20+ pt win for you.

Purdue. At home. 35-3.

You never know.

If it's that kind of season, we can all just stay home.

This Mizzou team is different than the atrocity of that year.

But, you're right. Anything is possible

Updated SEC "Game of the Year" lines from
@WestgateVegas

LSU at Texas (Pick)
Arkansas at Ole Miss (-3)
West Virginia at Missouri (-12.5)
BYU at Tennessee (-3)
Texas A&M at Clemson (-18.5)
Florida (-9) at Kentucky
Alabama (-22.5) at South Carolina
Tennessee at Florida (16.5)

The last one?! Can anyone tell me if this is a mistake?

That's the beauty of sports. We, as fans, say nearly the same thing nearly every year. At least until game 1.

Will the new South End Zone even be open by then? I just realized when looking at tickets that there aren't any available in those sections? That would be AWFUL if they spent all of this money and couldn't even put butts in those seats for a B12 opponent like WVU... someone PLEASE tell me this isn't the case

It will be finished. The seats are probably all sold already.

West Virginia is a team that can upset anyone outside of the top ten any given week. I don't care what anyone says.

I'd like to hear an explanation of why you think a program undergoing a complete rebuild can be given this distinction.

WVU is always given a lot of national respect for some reason? I just hope everyone remembers that when Mizzou beats their skulls in.

Will Grier, David Sills V, Gary Jennings and Yodny Cajuste — are gone......and so is the coach.

The offense struggled vs a defense changing to a 4-2 from a 3-3 in the spring and it doesn't sound much better in preseason camp. Those guys gave 430 yds a game last year vs Big 12 opponents.

They aren't going to be good on offense.

Yup, it’s kind of weird the national respect that WVU gets when they really haven’t done anything to earn it.

I suspect that won’t hold when we kick their arse though

Realistically, they probably wont be very good on defense either.

Moving to a 4-2-5 while losing all of their safeties from last year isn't good. They also lost (I think) 3 starters from the Dline.
