Link doesn’t go to an article, just a generic Mizzou page with a bunch of links

The first two videos on the page are Mizzou predictions, very interesting.

I think its laughable the over/under for wins is 5 for Missouri.

Im fine with everyone sleeping on Mizzou. I have sat back all off-season watching Mizzou get raked on tRant.

The bill will come due and the payback on tRant merciless.

Eli hasn't proven anything. That's the national perception. I could argue that the over under should be 6 wins, so the article is 1 win off. That's far from laughable.

The SC, UK, and UT games will obviously decide if it is a terrible or pretty good year. Lose all three than 5 wins will be a lucky outcome.

My "Bold prediction" is: If Mizzou only wins 6 or less, I'm gonna take an on-line class from Kansas...and become a big jayhawks fan.

Eh. 6 wins is fine.
If it’s followed up with 6 wins in 2023, then we may have a problem.

You are part of the problem. You probably didn't watch the team all year to see why it went 6-7. If he had this current DC, the record and the defense wouldn't be anything like it was last year. I am glad he was at LSU to see those SEC teams. He isn't new to the SEC. That is what I liked about hiring the former Miami DC that some say he was terrible. Actually, if you know that Manny Diaz was without him when he went to LSU and after that year he was fired. I put the blame on Manny Diaz as a very bad HC. He was the problem. Please keep your negativity to yourself because you will be looking like a fool at the end of the season.

I don't agree with you. I am saying at least 7 but must win 8 to respect current players and coaches. This shall lead to better recruits and should flip some top recruits that committed elsewhere for this season. This is not how to build a program by saying 6-6 is okay that may hurt current and future recruits. Drinkwitz can't afford to fall farther behind in recruiting good to top players. This year is key to make that jump, or Drinkwitz and staff will fall farther behind to get good to top players for this year and next year.

I watched every game and went to a few. Check my post history if you feel like it.

Not being negative my man, just being realistic. Any Mizzou fan that looks at things objectively knows exactly what I'm saying.

When will we know who the starting quarterback will be?

One win means a -/+ 10%ish percentage jump in expectations either direction. Its laughable thinking that Missouri's median is at 5 fricking wins.

I think the over/under for Missouri and its fans should be 7 wins this season. I will be more than happy to check back in this thread to throw/eat some crow.

I have the line at 7. I also think that this team may be better than that. Too much focus on a qback situation that has always been better than the pundits would credit.

If the defense had been good for one more stop per game, or the offense one more success in the red zone, they're 9-4 last year.

Have they made that kind of incremental improvement? I think they may well have.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I think K-State is the big game of the year. Pound sand in their behind and Missouri has momentum going into the SEC schedule. I can see an 8-9 regular season win total which would be a big step forward.

Lose... well maybe 6-7 wins is likely. Not great. But you will at least develop some of the young talent coming on campus. Things could be worse.

Lose badly and things could go off the rail. I'm not saying this to mock you guys, hell, if Cincy comes in to Fayetteville and stomps a mud hole in Arkansas in week 1 we are going to have to a looooong season. I think if you notch an early victory of what should be a decent but beatable K-State then things could fall into place but a bad loss could really spoil the entire year.

If Burden is half as good as we think he is on this forum our WR's will make our QB (whomever that is) better. 8-4 could happen.
