little weird that our rushing offense ranks #104, passing offense at #104 but overall offense # 74th

I hate that I agree.. " I don’t think any changes are going to happen because this staff still has the possibility of getting to six wins this year and, therefore, will change nothing lest they sacrifice the ability to get to a bowl game. Not that I agree with that sentiment, mind you, it’s just who they are."

Our rushing attack is a whole lot better than what those numbers say but Drink doesn't allow Peat to Eat.

Yet the team only had one blowout loss. Rest of the losses were by 7 points or less.

The offense is bad, but statistics can be misleading and are not always accurate. Mizzou’s offense is better than a lot teams ranked ahead of them and worse than some ranked below them.

Offensive Ranking
#1 Tenn
#4 UGA
#9 SMU 2-3
#11 UTSA 4-2
#12 Western Kentucky 3-3
#14 Georgia Southern 3-3
#16 James Madison 5-0 ranked #25
#19 North Texas 3-3
#20 East Carolina 3-3
#24 Arkansas 3-3
#54 LSU 4-2
#55 Clemson 6-0 ranked #4
#84 Vandy 3-3
#86 Mizzou 2-4
#87 La Tech 2-3
#94 Auburn 4-2
#99 Kentucky 4-2 ranked #22
#111 Texas A&M 3-3
#131 Iowa (Last Place) 3-3

In 2019 San Diego State’s offense was ranked 114th. They were 10-3 with a bowl win. They had out of conference wins over UCLA, BYU, NM State, and Central Michigan. They also beat Wyoming a team that beat Mizzou.

Mizzou OL could be better. They go through series where they look ok, but most of the time they don’t play good as a unit.

Some of the OL problem is Cook. It’s not just accuracy or arm strength it’s his ability to read a defense. He should be communicating better with his OL and backs. I’m sure the OL coach goes over the defense that Cook and the OL will see in the game. He has to read and adjust or his OL and offense looks worse than they really are.
