Thanks for posting the article. It was a good read.

I'm probably certifiable, but I've got a feeling the offense is ready to bust out in a big way.

They're finally healthy, Hansbrough and Murphy are overdue to bust out with some of the long runs like they had early in the year, and Mauk has found a rhythm running and passing. And EVERYBODY is writing off Ol' Mizzou again.

That's been a good recipe for us in the past.

yea I saw this video show for the first time last week, it's with Dave Matter and Gabe DeArmond along with a host I don't know at rivals, while I check out powermizzou some I missed this, but considering their webste design I won't feel too bad about that.

Tiger Sidelines

Matter sort of supports my observation of 1st half-good Matty, 2nd half-bad Matty. If he can just figure out how to bottle that first half performance we've got something.

some interesting quotes:

Gabe: "Shane Ray is having a SEC DPotY season, I think he's having a National Defensive Player of the Year season."

Dave: "He's having a better year than Michael Sam last year, I did't vote for Sam as the SEC DPotY, I didn't think he was consistent enough, Shane Ray is consistent enough".

I enjoyed the show. Is it an every week thing?

That episode seemed to be filmed prior to A&M over Auburn.

apparently it is weekly, I just discovered it myself, from a tweet I saw from Dave Matter, like I say, not a powermizzou subscriber so I don't know what they chat about on their form.

Thanks again for posting that Jagd. I've been forgetting to look since you posted the first one.

It's a shame the show isn't getting wider visibility.

np man, it's actually pretty dam hard to find the links for it,, it's almost like it's a secret if you don't have the mediacom or whatever the carrier is.

not many in the media who are as heads up on Mizzou, including history, than Matter and DeArmond.

well Gabe, Dave and Beau somethingerother are back for another season:

Tigersidelines post SEMO show

kudos to Gabes analysis on Mauk, for mentioning yes he had a TD dropped but he ALSO had an interception reversed/dropped. He's right, Mauk playing better is not just riding on the receivers it's also on Mauk.

Gabe also noted that if we beat the Vols after they beat OU it helps our sos and makes us look better, another good point.

Not sure where he gets the idea that Walters is better than Witter though, Witter is easily faster and I doubt Walters has the power to make up the difference.

Dave Matter chat from yesterday. Lots of back-up RB talk.

It doesn't sound promising behind RH. LINK

How we could be left this vulnerable is a little disconcerting.

the fact that we have a gimpy Hunt behind Witter makes me realize we have not turned the corner at recruiting/coaching RBs that I thought we had.

and with that, here's this weeks..

and they are back..

in which our heroes, Gabe, Dave and Beu Brummel or somebody discuss the post mortem of the Mizzou horror show of offense vs UCONN.

UConn vs Mizzou

among topics discussed:

* the magic 8 ball/coin flipping/pick a straw process in which Gary Pinkel decides to play Drew Lock
* the "share the joy" of how bad the offense is at all positions
* the complete brain fartery of running Whitter up the middle on a goal line play
* car accidents and Mizzou
* what appears(so far) to be a top 20 defense

Gabe registers(again) the capt obvious comment for the Hansbrough fans in the crowd..

"he's not a magician or Fournette, Russell Hansbrough is really good, but he can't just save this offense"

Gabe, Dave and Bo Beemon are back to tell us that which we already know, after the loss to UK, Mizzou is NOT the best 3-1 team in the nation.

post Mizzou v UK sidelines

* UK game (not a good loss)
* a slightly better MU offense is still not good
* holes in Mizzou D coverage over the middle
* plenty of injuries
* Mauk's career at Mizzou

I think Gabe covers his "conjecture" that MM may never start again, and see the field only in case of injury, but you can see for yourself.

surprise! it's Gabe, Dave and Bo Boreman bringing us up to speed on the Tigers win over the Ole Ball Coach and USC.

Mizzou vs USCjr Sidelines

* Tigers offense with Drew Lock at the helm
* will MM ever see the field at Mizzou again?
* the run game makes it's 2015 appearance
* HCKA and hoops

Gabe: The what was Gary Pinkel thinking moment when he argued w/ the refs after the highly fortunate "in the grasp" call of Lock on the 1 yard line, hint: "JUST SNAP THE BALL" Gary..,
