These are all a joke. We are going to the National Championship once we win out.

I love how every single prediction but 1 apparently has us losing a game before the SECCG. For us to fall to the Outback, we'd have to miss the SECCG, right?

If you lose the SECCG, it's possible (see UGA 2011).

I think we beat the piss outta UCF.

A game against a B1G team or a Bevo12 team would be fun.

Yes. It appears very few in the "media" think Mizzou will win out against Ole Miss and aTm.

I don't disagree at all. I do have to say I would rather just get a BCS game to say we have done it.

OK, I'm still unfamiliar with the bowl order in the SEC, but isn't the Outback the 4th SEC bowl, assuming there is a SEC team in the BCSCG? It would go BCSCG, BSC At Large, Capital One, Outback, right?

So, the pundits assume:
1)We will lose at least one more game;
2)SC will beat Florida;
3)Georgia will lose to Auburn;
4)SC will go to the SECCG and lose to either Bama or Auburn;
5)We fall to 4th.

Worst case scenario all around, I guess. But, if that's what happens, I'd love to get a B1G team to stomp. Take the anger out that way.

2 and 3 above are both pretty likely, Georgia-Auburn less so but until UGA actually does something of note this year its fair to assume they won't. 2 and 3 lead directly to 4 and SC would almost certainly lose to whoever they play there.

It all really just comes back around to #1. I think if Mizzou had just one more of the two games left on its sched and then the other remaining game was more midlevel team like Tennessee or something, you'd see a lot more Mizzou-to-BCS type projections. It's not so much that people don't think we can beat either Ole Miss or ATM but just the idea of what are perceived tough games being played back to back is what makes people play it safe and assume we will lose one. Hell I wear the thickest black and gold homer glasses one can imagine, but if you put a gun to my head I can certainly understand the thinking there and to be on the safe side might make that prediction myself and then hope to be wrong.

Pretty good summation semo. The cotton will do everything in its power to grab aTm in my opinion.

1 BCSNCG
2 Sugar Bowl
3 Capital One
4 Cotton
5 Outback
6 Chik fil A
7 Gator
8 Music City
9 Liberty
10 BBVA Compass

If the Ole Miss game were at home, I'd be a lot more confident. As it is, I'm humble and quietly confident, but not confident enough to bet on it. I will say this - we get less respect than any other SEC team in our situation would get. I hope the team pays attention to that, and keeps that big chip firmly in place on their shoulderpads.

Pretty much. What is really amusing is with the way the Cock fans crow on about our schedule and getting lucky and not having played anyone etc...fact is SC is only in their position by having caught the MASSIVE, MASSIVE break of getting to play BY FAR the two worst SEC West teams, Arkansas and Mississippi State. In the context of this season, that's practically criminal. I would submit that if SC had to take a road trip to play at ANYONE other than Arky or MSU from the West, this here East Division race would be over already.

No question. I think Auburn has a MUCH steeper hill to climb to get to the SECCG having to beat Bama than Mizzou does having to beat Ole Miss and aTm at home.

The more things change the more things stay the same.

I always found it odd about the Cock trolling involving Mizzou's schedule and wins. They just dont think things through very much I suppose.

If we had games against Miss St and Arkansas left we would be penciled into the SECCG and possibly the Sugar Bowl already.

We are gonna have to earn it though. Which is fine. If the felllas pull it off there can be no talk about backing in etc and will cement this great season and earn respect no one can take away.
