If they can get Flip to be the PG and not throw up ill-advised shots, he has a very high ceiling. He's very smart, mad ball-handling skills.

As SEMO said, the Celtics should fine him every time he shoots anything but an uncontested layup. But he is an unreal ball handler and passer.

He'll be fine, as long as you don't play him in the 4th quarter.

So if y'all had to compare him to a current nba baller who would y'all pick?

I'll let someone else answer this one, Patton. I'm really not an NBA fan, I WAY prefer college basketball.

BTW - if I were to want to get tickets to the Mizzou - Bama game in Tuscaloosa this year, where would I want to sit?

He has ball handling skills like very few I've ever seen. I went to the game against UCLA last year at Pauley and he took the entire pavilions breath away several times.

He just seemed to have little to no concept of the game as it pertains to the last 5 mins.

He was also a lousy shooter who forced a lot of shots.

I don't think he'll ever meet his potential. He didn't seem to be the kind of floor general that he's going to need to be, given his size, in the NBA.

I could be completely wrong, though, I mean, if he fixes a couple of things and matures, he could become a 5'9 Chris Paul.

He just didn't show me much last year, considering what my expectations were.

I always think Raymond Felton. At times you can see him take a game over with pure ability. Then at times you think "why in the heck did he take that shot?" He could be a great slasher point guard. But he has a super star mentality where when it is a close game he wants to take the shot and he is not that kind of guy. Needs to be more Jason Kidd and less Derron Williams.

Chris Paul is a good comparison ball handling and assist wise. He has sneaky hops. Can jump pretty well. But he'll probably never be more than a 40% FG shooter.

Let's put it this way.

If someone said Phil could come back this year, I'd say no thanks.

Freshman Wes Clark looks better than him in every way. Wes is very good in every aspect of the game. I'll take that over a guy who is exceptional in one aspect but terrible in others. Phil is erratic and just stupid way too often. Pro game probably suits him better than college, though.

Make sure to keep the bookies away from the kid.. he's been known to shave from time to time.

I would't go that far. I like Clark and he has a lot of upside but he isn't better than Pressey was.

Pressey probably has the best ball handling skills and best court vision I have ever seen in a player in my 44 years. I think he can actually do quite well in the NBA. At Mizzou, the problem was he also thought he was a scorer and that he had to shoot the ball. I'm sure the veterans in the NBA won't put up with that crap and as long as he's dishing and not shooting, he'll be fine. His ability to dribble penetrate and kick it back out is probably as good as anyones.

I am very high on Wes Clark as well but better than him in every aspect is a very big stretch. Our fanbase loves to rip Flip because of his late game struggles, but the guy was special. Handled it and saw the floor as good as anybody. Could really create for others who he had chemistry and experience with. Clark will be good but right now is nowhere near the creator, ball handler or distribute guy that Flip was. I think we all overreact big time when it comes to Phil.

I'd agree with that. Flip was a fantastic PG, but he had some maturity issues. And because of that, and some questionable decision-making (related to maturity, IMO), he got a lot of blame for losses. Some of that was deserved, but one guy doesn't lose games - it's a team sport. He was still a fantastic PG, especially from the talent perspective.

Honestly I've only ever sat in the greek section behind the south endzone. I think you will be happy with seats just about anywhere that isn't upper deck, though the two endzone upper deckers are a little worse than the other sections. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful and thank y'all for the info in here

No we don't.

Like I said in my earlier post. He took folks breath away at Pauley. That's saying something. I think he had 19 pts and 19 assists. Then, he kicked it into Ruh-Tard gear and single-handedly pissed the game away for us.

He might be a great NBA player, but I guarantee that Ruh-Tard gear will always be there.

It's high if he can learn how to shoot and limit his turnovers. He is incredibly athletic and has great court vision.

For basketball?

Mizzou plays at Bama in February, and I'm thinking of going.

oh geez completely thought you were speaking about football. I like section R or Q in Coleman though. Ex had season tickets there and have only watched a game from those two sections but they were great seats

Know how I know you're a Bama fan?

And thanks! I'll look for those sections.
